I just recently purchased a GGTS (used - and got it yesterday) and am having an issue. I cannot get it to fire consistently. There is play in the button - when i push it, it can rock back and forth and when it does it stops firing.

I cleaned EVERYTHING - switch cap, pin, part that screws into bottom tube, bottom tube, bottom cap, pin that bottom cap spring goes into, bottom cap spring, battery terminals, kick terminals, top collector cup connections...

It hits noticeably better but if i dont press the button just right it does not fire...

I also replaced the button spring and bottom cap spring with brand new ones - just to see if that made a difference.

Please help.... do i need a new button??

Thanks,
PJ

extend the button's spring and clean the axis that pin of the button touch to fire cris. Also check the base of the button's head and the internal "floor" of the button's case

finally check if the threads of the engraved tube where button screws are clean too

ps....... the problem occurs only with kick inside GGTS?

So I'm experimenting with batteries and the kick. Ran 18660 and 18500. How do I run 18350? Looking for the smallest I can make it. (I do have a stealth cap and air control cap)

Any advice is appreciated.

Try removing the top tube from the telescope and screw the telescope into the stealth cap or collector tank.
