Finally Got A Response From My States' AG

and it doesn't sound promising! I think that all of the states Attornies General received the same cut and paste form letter to send out about e-cigs. I live in Tennessee, and the response I received....paraphrasing, was: Thank you for writing to me, and your concern about electronic cigarettes is commendable, BUT...., then he proceeds to spew the same FDA garbage about the harmful chemicals that the FDA found, and sales to minors, blah,blah,blah.

I think we all ought to stock up and head for the bunker, because I believe we are going to get the shaft big time!

Right, because analogs don't have harmful chemicals and aren't sold to minors? I really don't think that those people think at all!

You're right super. My mom used to say "if they had a brain, they would take it out and play with it". It seems like the whole federal governments' mind is made up about the e-cig, and no amount of facts is going to deter them from an all out ban. It boggles my mind that they cannot be reasoned with on any level!

the fact the judge is taking this long to rule shows he isnt one of them. unless he is trying to get the correct spelling for the 3 letter word: B-A-N.

Not really sure what you said in your letter to your AG, but this will help me as I compose my letter, not only to the AG, but to state rep, senators, and even the governor. I'm holding off for now, pending Judge Leon's ruling.

However, I'll definitely make sure my letter counters the "blather" that has been spewing forth from the politicos' mouthes, before they have a chance to spout it off to me again. If I still get the same old garbage, which I probably will, it will at least show that they are not bothering to read the letters. Once they notice "electronic cigarette" as the topic, they just send out the same worn out canned response.
