After using a cheap Lavatube for the past 9 months I finally gave in and bought a Reo Grand! It is seriously the best decision I have made when it comes to vaping. I was so worried about the whole process of "squonking" but I haven't had any trouble feeding my atomizer. Maybe I learned a lot by reading the forums on how to do it properly so THANKs to all Reo veterans out there.

Here is my Reo Grand - Black Body (wish it was dark blue) with Orange Door. As a Syracuse alum I bleed Orange so I lovingly named my Reo --> OTTO after our school mascot! I have an IKV LR510 on the first picture and a GotVapes Stallion Hybrid Carto on the second. I also got the big Delrin button.

So I started off by using my IKV 501 and its been really good, but it seems like the flavor is not as in your face as I was expecting. Is it because I'm using a 1.5ohm for my sweet juices ? I am currently vaping Cantamelon (50/50) and Love Potion (30PG/70VG) (sweet juices) from Rawr Vapors. I have a Cisco 1.5 501LR bridgeless, Cisco 1.8 & 2.0 306LR coming in soon....will those give me a better flavor than the IKVs I'm using? I also find that the TH is a little light, but could that be because I downed my nic level to 12mg when I was using around 15-16mg before.

- I read somewhere else on the forum that they have been using the Stallions on the Reo, so I bought a pack of those and I can confidently say that these are as good or even slightly better than the IKVs I'm using ! I didn't think I would like cartos, but the Stallion doesn't have too much filler inside so I don't really get the polyfill taste a lot of people dislike. I'm also liking how the carto doesn't have to be squonked as often as I would with the atomizer. For all the Reonauts that use cartos I HIGHLY recommend you guys picking up some of these Stallions because they work really well.

Anyways I'm so happy with my Reo and I don't think ill find another PV better!:vapor:

" First grand", he says,lol.

At least you already know that there'll be more, lol.

A back-up for the back-up that;s for the back-up...and so on.

( oh, it'll happen oh yes , it will, it happens to all of us)

And yours is a beauty, too.

And from a 3 yr.plus user of atties and cartos, I'd suggest getting into rebuildable atties...you'll never go back to atties/cartos. Rob has some that he's modded on his site and there's lots of info around here on how to build thewick/coils.

The Reo RBA Reomizer is great... especially priced right, and with Rob and his crew, you will get all the ECF support you can handle.

If you want a dare-I-say "better" atomizer for the Reo after you go through the Cisco stuff, check out Cisco's Aero - a Hybrid (bridgeless, 306/510 in a 510 body) and Vapage.com AMG Hybrid bottom/feed atomizers.... As close to perfection, short of an RBA. They are designed like the HH357, just mass produced so the price is right.

When I don't want to fuss with the RBA... sometimes you have to recoil/wick and sometimes you get issues, the Hybrid's are imo fantastic.
I have a stock of , AMG and Aero's for my Reo's. (I even use them on my dripping devices). For non-VV I get the 1.5 Ohm.

Would I need to buy a multimeter to test the ohms on the coils I make? I've definitely been interested in rebuilding atomizers ever since I started with the Vivi nova tanks...After I burn through my 10 or so atties I'll definitely try the RBA. Does it cut down on costs significantly and how long does one wick/coil last before making another one?

Congrats indeed to a new Reonaut!! Lazyymatt- welcome aboard.. Oh, and if you really want to be a lazyymatt- I agree with oldbroad- the RBA from Rob- we call it the Reomizer!! Nothing vapes as good as a RBA!!

You can make a coil for pennies, so yes, it'll save money...lots of money...in the long run. I can get a week out of a coil, usually. Since building coils is fun, and a "new" hobby for me, I tend to change them out more often than that....just because I'm still playing around. But...I can get a week or more out of one. But even more than the savings factor, which is substantial, is the quality of vape. The rebuildables deliver! I've been vaping for quite awhile (about 2-1/2 years) and these things bring it every time. Vaping has gone to a new level for me.

Congratulations on your new REO....it's one awesome mod, and with a rebuildable on top, it's the best of the best.

EDIT: You wouldn't have to have a multimeter, but they're always a good thing to have. I used my multimeter a lot before I got my variable voltage REO. Now, no matter what the ohms are on the coil I build, I can just adjust my VV REO to match it.

Lazymatt...if it was me, I'd get an RBA and save the atties for " emergencies"...the taste, throat hit, vapor on a rebuildable is incredible!
