Congrats! I TOTALLY understand the wasting money thing! I bought all kinds of V2 stuff, then a bunch of ego stuff. I was just continually unsatisfied....it was a waste of money for sure. My provari--LOVE it! Loved it so much I bought a second - blem and love it too. Now I have two flavors going!! Have not had one dead batt! Morning to bedtime I am hassle free--just vaping!

hit the button 5 times fast, PU is power up for adjusting the voltage up, PD is power down for turning it down, PO is for turning the unit on or off, CB is battery volts, AO is atomizer ohms, LO is led under the fire button on or off.

check your atty ohms, and adjust the voltage to about 2 volts higher than the ohms of the atty, thats a good ballpark to start.

the ext cap to use 18650s is worth every penny. i vape almost 2 tanks a day and only have to change batteries every other day. panasonic CGR18650CH's work wonderfully (but theyre flat tops, and need a magnet, or a bead of solder)

Congrats! I hope to be able to afford a second one someday, just in case, but I doubt I'll ever need it!
As dingo said, the easiest way it take the resistance of the carto and add 2. 1.7 ohms, you add 2 and get 3.7v. 3 ohms add 2 and you get 5v. This will get you very close, then you can adjust up or down from there. This is the simplest way to keep it around 8watts, where most people like to vape.
