Finally happy with my Reo!

It's been almost a week and I am finally happy with my Reo Grand!

I've finally made a 1 ohm coil that I am happy with from 8 wraps of 28 gauge kanthal and using CVS sterile rolled cotton for my wick.

It took awhile to figure out how much cotton was enough, flavor still seems a bit muted but I can deal, throat hit is good and vapor production is great!

I've got some extra cotton stuffed by my bottle and I now feel confident enough to take it to work and use it all day.

That must be the beginner's coil. I'm two weeks in and thrilled with it now after a week of trying to figure it out till someone on here told me to try the exact same coil. I had the same thing with flavor still and slowly got it to the point where it was better than everything else by tweaking the position. I knew it was better when I didn't use the old stuff for about two days without realizing it.

What'd you have to do with the coil to get the flavor right? I have to squonk after every vape other wise it's dry. If I use more cotton the flavor of the cotton never goes away.

One side of my wick is almost always brown as well....I'll squonk and vape and the brown will go away then come back. My liquid is pretty clear.
