I was sitting there flooding them after only maybe 10 drips and I couldn't figure out why. then I remembered someone mentioning holding them at a 45 degree angle. Then it hit me! EUREKA! By doing it this way, all the juice is going into the filler and not straight down the tube! If it goes down the tube, then it just runs out and gets clogged up really quick. But if you hold it at an angle if just goes into the filler mostly with no clogging. I think I destroyed a few of these because of that. I actually dripped around 30 drops into one tonight by doing this without any mess. So, if you are dripping directly into a carto such as the Boge 510, use that advice! It will save you some money!

Yeah you want to get it in the filler and not the center tube but if you do it doesn't ruin it, when your done just blow on the carto from the mouth piece end and that will clear the tube. Be sure to wipe the battery threads off and make sure they are clean before you screw the carto in and you're good to go.
Also on the first fill of an empty carto it can take a while for the fluid to soak all the way down, might want to let it sit a few minutes and then try a few more drops.
There's also the condom method of filling which I'll link below. I prefer using it but it's all preference.

Yeah, I don't like the condom method. It was the first one I tried. As for blowing through the tube, I tried that on a carto tonight, but I think because I have been filling it wrong for several times it's just ruined. I could not blow through it at all. It was completely clogged. I will try to see if I can clean it out tomorrow, but I think due to the nature of screwing up and using the Maiden Coffee, which is super thick, it may just be ruined.
Should be able to stick something through the center tube and unclog it, toothpick, straighten a paper clip out, etc. Just be careful to not mess up the coil.
