You don't need to quit analogs cold turkey if that isn't working for you. Everyone will have a different opinion and a different personal experience. I don't do well when I'm told I can't do or have something (even if I'm the one telling me that). Just makes me want it more. I vaped when I wanted, and smoked when I wanted. But little by little I didn't want the analogs as much, they started tasting nasty, and about a month later I only vaped.

Just do whatever feels right for you without stressing yourself out about it. :)

I smoked about 14 to 20 Marlboro Menthol Lights a day. I could go for a 3 hour stretch with no cigs with little to no difficulty and 4 hours with only occasional fits of looking for a way out so I could smoke.

I ordered my Bloog carts in at 24mg and stopped cold turkey the day they arrived. But I was quitting with my wife and we were able to support each other.

I was glad I started at 24mg as it was easy to keep up my nic levels without having to vape too much, which can be difficult to adjust to early. After all, you would normally have one cig every hour or so and then it only took you 4 - 6 minutes to smoke. You are not used to having to "smoke" for longer than that at a time and more frequently just to get the same amount of nicotine as before.

That is why I recommend starting at 24mg. If nothing else you will convince yourself that you are definitely getting nicotine and can step down to 18/16mg when you are ready. That's what I did and it worked for me and my wife. After about a month and a half we are mostly using 18/16mg and couldn't be happier. We don't have any plans to move lower at this time, but it could happen.

That's because Bloog's 18mg is actually 16mg. And is why I can't subsist on a diet of Bloog's "Medium" flavored cartos alone. At this time Bloog does not offer an 18mg. Goes from 24mg to 16mg.

Oops, yeah, you're right. When I placed my second order, I mixed in some 16mg, but I need more nic. I was thinking of juice choices; I always go 18 or 24 now.

I smoked 1.5 packs a day. Normal strength. Had been smoking for about 25 years.
Completely switched to e-cigs when I bought an NJoy kit in a local store. Used that kit for about 2 weeks and then got better gear. (too many faults on the njoy).
It wasn't even my primary intention to go cold-turkey, but it just happened. Still have my last pack half full in the drawer.

Why is a 18mg actually a 16mg? Does that mean they are all lower than listed?

I suppose that wasn't very clear. I was trying to saying that while 18mg is a common level of nicotine, Bloog offers 16mg instead. There is nothing misleading on Bloog's site nor is any product mislabeled.

The generation of this confusion is all mine. I apologize for that.

Gardner, a confusion generator in your hands is like a monkey with a shotgun. You don't know if he'll figure out how to shoot it, or when, but you know it'll be funny if he does. And potentially tragic.
