I was having problems with constantly having a burnt taste and went through four coils in four days looking through all the forums trying to find a solution and finally figured it out. I read in one post that if I used a pin and opened up one of the holes in the coil it would help. Well I tried it and all I did was push cotton around a little and my problem continued so I tried looking for other solutions. Today I got so frustrated I decided I was going to make a hole through the cotton into the middle of the coil. I took a thumb tack and pushed as hard as I could on each hole and on the last hole I felt in catch and as I pushed I felt the outside of the coil slide and the tack went all the way in! That's how it's supposed to be! I went back and checked all the coils I just burned out and all had the holes blocked, I checked the last coil in my pack and one hole was a little open and I was able to pry it open more. Now I know. Dam noob problems! Now I'm back in business and happy with my vaping experience.
