1.7 ohms...didn't count wraps, and I'm not sure if this is 30 or 32 gauge Kanthal at this point. But going strong for about 3 days so far!

I cut the tail off the "hole" end of the wick to improve drainage because I'm keen on squonkin and not so keen on the dry burnt cotton flavor. So far so good! If I had to guess I'm guessing I'd be at about 3.7-3.8 volts.

Cheers! I love this thing! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1376417923.830955.jpg

That looks like a nice coil. Though you might get a better result if it was closer to the airhole. It is hard to tell from this photo but it looks really close to the posts.

Oh, never thought of that. Here is another pic. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1376419235.231473.jpg

I tried to snug up to the posts in order to not have too long of legs...but I'm game to try anything. Let me know what ya think!

Looks great!

Like AA said it'll hit a little harder if you hang it out by the air hole. Long legs are no problem with micros but they will add a tiny bit of resistance so you may want to use one less wrap around the wick. Having said that there is nothing wrong with the coil being closer to the posts either if it vapes good for you then vape that bad boy! :D

Bro, nice work I agree moving it a little bit away more from the posts will probably help. I typically try to center my coil on the Squonk hole and run it parallel to the post like this pic.

You can just stick your needle back in there and pull it out without even loosening the screws probably. But always the tighten screws anytime you fiddle with the coil :)

I know now that South Florida is having a cloudy day. awesome man. I like it.

Edit - you fixed it. Looks just like the drawing. Great work bro :)

Ironically, despite the cloud coverage in my office, my building has no windows so I won't really know too much what it is REALLY like outside for about another 60 minutes, LOL! I think I have my coil setup almost exactly as that diagram now (adjusted it yet again), so I'll put it through its paces now! Thanks for reposting the diagram, I knew I had seen it but it was before I had my device. :)

Freaking serious! Nice job on the CAD! I wish I could do that, I really need to learn too. I've only played around a little with Draftsight, hey it's free & simple but limited.

Thanks young Deazy. Ive been running autoCAD for architectural purposes for, Damn, like 25 freakin years. I took about a 7 year break to go build some schools, but now I'm back to rockin it here in my crib to get my paydays.

You need it drawn, I can draw it. :).

I wanna do some elevations of my builds on the RM2 but been busy up in here lately :)
