Hey all you vet's out there I'm relatively new to the forum. I'm finally upgrading from my blu (l88b) model though its served me decent in the last year i've had it. I'm just wanting some input about 510's. Im currently looking at the reVolver gemini or the Volcano magma. I want a good atomizer for the throat hit but im wondeirng is LR at 1.5 ohm's the better atomizer you can get or is there a better one out there. I hear there is just so much versatility as far as 510's are concerned. Also both the Gemini and the Magma have manual batteies avaliable but the PCC cannot hold the manual batteries. Is there a good case mod or a site that offers a manual battery holding PCC? Also, if any of you out there have tried the Magma or Gemini do they give you a good bang for your $$?

I know of the Revolver Gemini and Volcano Magma, but know very little about them. [Psst. I did purchase the Revolver Elite awhile back and cannot recommend it. Don't tell anybody; I'm embarassed to admit my momentary weakness.

I've read that the Gemini is a 510 clone sold with an automatic and manual battery and with both a regular and a LR atomizer. I understand that the Magma also is a 510 clone sold with automatic batteries. Both are sold with their own unique PCCs. Since the Gemini kit includes a manual battery, I am surprised to learn from you that its PCC does not accomodate it (although that is confirmed by others).
So, obviously, you know more about those products than I. Regardless, if you are prepared to spend $80 on a 510-type starter kit, I suggest that you consider the 650 mAh eGO (aka Tornado) or one of its even higher-mAh clones: no PCC needed. I think a $35 Joye 510 starter kit is a great way to enter the world of vaping, but you are already in that world*, a world which the eGO has taken by storm. It is almost universally acclaimed. [The only debate is whether any of the clones (or a mod) is better.]
The eGO (or Riva, MaxX, or Hello016) enables use of the regular 510 atomizer (any brand), LR 510 atomizer, or 510 cartomizer and vaping all day without having to swap batteries from a PCC. [I like to keep my Blackberry in my shirt pocket, not a cigarette pack substitute.]

* Or, since you have not yet tried the 510 atty, you could indeed start with a $35 Joye 510 kit and get eGO batt/cone/charger later if you like the 510. You may find that you don't like the 510 that much and might prefer the Kr8, 901, or penstyle.

I agree with Don if you can draw yourself away from the cig style ecigs and also recommend the eGo style. Although I'd stick with the Joye products at this point until the maxX/T-Rex reports are more positive - eGo Janty, Tornado TW, or Joye eGo at heaven gifts and health cabin.
If you stay with the cig style then the 510 kit at cignot is a good kit for the $$. And while the LR 510 attys are not supposed to be for batteries less than 440mAh, I've used them on regular 510's and megas (280mAh) with no problem other than the fact that they will wear out quicker and need charging more often using the LR atty. That's why the LR atty is a good match to the longer lasting 650mAh and even better 900/1000mAh eGo/Tornado batts.
