So I spent s few weeks researching and saving my pennies so I could get what I really wanted. Finally placed my order on Friday afternoon.
Went with the Joye Ego-T and decided to order from Cignot because I have read so many wonderful reviews about Vicki and her great service and speedy delivery. I was not disappointed!
I got the Ego-T type B kit, plus an LR atty. Also added a box of cartos in case I ran into problems with the tanks as I know they can be problematic. Also got a sampler pack of Menthol just in case the juice order I put in with another vendor took longer to arrive.
Within an hour of placing the order I received a shipping confirmation with tracking number. Unbelievable! I emailed her to thank her for the incredibly prompt service and almost immediately she sent back a nice note reply. This lady is tops!
Anyway, the order was coming from IL to WI and lo and behold, it arrived Monday safe and sound. Woohoo! I was ready to.... I hoped anyway.
LOL
Opened everything up and started to get one set up. Definite newbie attack here... got one all together, blew out the atty, filled a tank, screwed in the batt.... and nothing! Uh oh... now what did I do wrong?
After about ten minutes of fiddling and blondness, finally dawned on me to check and batt and or course it was dead. Popped it on the charger (it recharged just fine) and tried the second one. Before I knew it I was vaping away
Only glitch was the second atty, the tank was leaking so I checked the wick and it was set very low. When I finally got the plate popped out (actually hubby did... see, they are good for something... LOL) and reset the wick, still wasn't right, will have to fiddle with it and hope I can get it right.
Have been vaping the little samples I got from Cignot, 100% VG menthols. I know people say that you don't get a much TH with all VG but I was about choking from it...
Maybe it's because although I was a 25+ yr PAD smoker, it was always ultra lights and I was never a heavy hitter on the cancer sticks.
So, plenty of TH, tons of vapor, good flavor from Vicki's samples. Would order them again as well as would order from her again in a heartbeat.
Now just waiting on my juice order. Ordered from a WI company, kind of expected it to show up today as it shipped out Monday but for some reason, even though it was shipped UPS, the vendor set it up so that UPS would drop it at the USPS closest to their nearest UPS hub, then it would go to my local post office, then to me. Weird. Added at least a day to the shipping. So it is scheduled to be here tomorrow. The juices are 70PG/30VG. Really want to try some PG to make sure I don't have any problems with it before I order some more.
So all in all, I'm really happy with everything. Still had cigs left when the PV arrived yesterday but haven't touched them. Kind of keep wanting one, maybe just because they're there but not quite ready to get rid of them yet. Kind of like a security blanket, I know they're there if I need them but I really don't expect to.
As many times as I have quit this is the first time I really feel like I might be able to stick with it. Much thanks to all the wonderful people in this forum who offer support, advice and encouragement to everyone. The information here has been indispensable. I already feel like I got a second lease on life, or at least a chance for one
