So I decided to rewrap my coil using some 28ga kanthal I ordered instead of my usual 32ga and HOLY CHIT!!!! There is absolutely no comparison. I did a 3/4 wrap on my aga fired it up on my ke-cig k100 on a mostly dead iw amr 18650. adjusted my coils as all which I finally got the hang of and in about 10 minutes had it up an running. This thing is a friggen fog machine. Guess I'll be going back to the short mouth drags and no more strait lung inhale otherwise I might choke myself out. Just though I would share my success with you guys seeing as how helpful you have all been. Thank you all! :)

it is completely ridiculous. It starts throwing vapor the instant you hit the switch. no more long lung drags or needing to wait a couple seconds before bothering to give it a pull. I'm going to need to move down my nic level and start running a heavier vg liquid otherwise I'm going to burn through a tank in a few pulls.

I have 28 here, but really only use 30 on my mesh and silica rebuildables. I usually get about 1.5 ohms with 5 wraps on the 30.

Anybody use both do you feel there is that much of a difference between the 28 and 30?

Just like the 30g is better in every way compared to the 32g wire...the 28g wire is better in every way compared to the 30g wire. The only problem with the 28g wire is that you need a decent mechanical device to get to its full potential. If you tryto use it with VV devices it won't vape well....at least not to its full potential

Ok so just am update for those who have not gone this route yet. A few things I've noticed with the 28ga are it will very quickly give you a headache if your not careful to drink a lot of water. It will also tighten up your chest a bit if vaping heavily before bed. A decrease in nic level would likely be needed for most possible 2 levels for those of you who have been vaping awhile. It completely changes the experience from what we are used to. It is so efficient compared to many other setups and devices it will take some getting used to. Still enjoying this immensely.

True. Yesterday I set up one of my newly upgraded Provaris with 28ga, 1.1Ω. It's just OK, but not great. 30 and 32 are better on these devices.

Hmmm what types of mechanical mods do you guys suggest, and do you use a kick and/or 2/5 cent protector in them ?
Cause I had been planning on getting a smok telescope (I know this isn't an uber device), but just to try it out, before I might get something more expensive

I have a couple Naturals. They're pretty decent, for a low end mechanical.

I have the smok telescope and the ke-cig k100. Have a couple friends that have naturals as well and I recommend the k100. The bottom portion is textured so its never slippery. It comes in different colors if you want something different. 18350 mode running a cargo tank the entire device is not even as long as my hand is thick. The 510 connection is super smooth and meets almost perfectly flush with all my tank and rba setups while still having good air supply. The bottom switch is good and solid and the locking mechanism works great without getting sloppy after awhile. All in all good little device. Obviously it's not chi yu or caravela but its worth the dime. It is kickable and fuseable but not required as long as your careful settin up your coil.

I have the Smok Telescope and don't recommend it, they don't last long....
With a few simple modifications the Smok Natural is a much better deal and can hang with more expensive devices, check out Todd's review:

I don't use a kick or fuses. I run coils around 0.7-1.0 ohms and a kick have no use there. Haven't felt the need for a fuse either.

Now that my Telescope stopped working(just this Saturday, had it for 6 weeks)) I have a Super T Precise + 18500 coming in a day or two and an ELA whenever it comes out.

I did the same with my Bliss tank, and I love it.

The 28 does seem to slack a little on the provari. You really have to hit the button & give
it a sec to get the full potential.

I just got some 29ga straight from tempco & that seems perfect for the provari. Responds
so much better. I like it better then the 30 & way more then 32.
