So, like 2 weeks ago I was just using tank cartos and vivi novas (ick) on KGO VVs (good entry device, but didn't realize how bad they were till I got my ProVari)

At some point I threw reason on the window and abused my wallet and got a Provari, and have since preordered a Futura, a Russian 91% and a Vapinaze AL-1. I will probably also get a Kayfun Lite whenever InTaste gets em in stock. (Any other good RBAs I should consider? I thought about an Ithika, but it's so expensive, and seems like a whole lot of work to rebuild)

Now I just need to stock up on Kanthal and Wicks. I've already picked up a bag of cotton balls and will probably snag some cotton yarn to try Micro coils. But I'm trying to decide what kinds of Kanthal to get and find a good place to get Kanthal and Ekowool (are there any other wicking materials that work in the Kayfun? The AL-1 I'm still unsure what I'm going to do as all the talk of Chromium VI has me worried about ss mesh wicks).

Right now I'm thinking I will grab 100 feet of 28ga, 30ga and 32ga (maybe even 34ga lol) A-1 Kanthal, but I'd also like to try some Ribbon, just not sure what size to get. I'm going to be aiming to build 2.5-3.2ohm coils (don't try and sell me on Sub Ohm, because I think it's stupid).

I'm also going to buy some 2mm Ekowool.

So my questions are:

What size Kanthal Ribbon are people using?
Where are some good places to order Kanthal?
Where are some good places to get genuine Ekowool?
Are there any other wicking materials I should consider?

Oh, and where can I get one of the ProVari rings/cones? Seems like everywhere is sold out that I check. Are some better than others?

Somewhere out there
www.youtube.com
Kanthal = http://www.temcoindustrialpower.com/products/Resistance_Wire/RW0107.html

Rolled cotton = http://m.cvs.com/mt/www.cvs.com/shop/product-detail/CVS-Rolled-Cotton?skuId=955492

I don't use anything else so that's all I got. Here's what I build with that stuff :)
