So I finally get to try out my new baby. I thought I had the right batteries for it, turns out I didn't. Then an order got lost along the way...had to wait even longer. Well, today I finally got to try my GLV2 and I LOVE it! Couldn't be happier.

So here she is at work with me today. :) The color is blue purple flip flop (always looks blue in pictures, but it is definitely purple). Oh and I just got one of the 3.5ml tanks from Madvapes and it fits perfectly, no extender needed and it doesn't wiggle around (comes with a gold metal drip tip too), they are only $11.

....now what color do I want next...LOL

It is a 5v, first one I've had and I don't think I'll ever switch back. I really like it.

I guess with the holidays, shipping is kind of a mess. I had an order I placed 6 days later show up before the first one, maybe the lost one will show up next year. LOL. That's just the way things go sometimes.

It wasn't fun sitting here looking at this for over a week and not being able to use it. But it was worth it. It's a lot lighter than I thought it would be, which is fantastic. I have a habit of dropping thing too which is why I picked the GLV2, I heard it was tough. I've already dropped it about 20 times and so far it's fine (I'm seriously clumsy) :)

I'm already planning my next purchase. I'm thinking a raspberry color with pearl end caps.

Hey guys! Got my 1st GLV today!!!
I picked up a GLV2 5v with the intentions of having hubby try it, to see if I could get him vaping. Very pretty, the darker metalic blue (I always forget the name). He tried it a couple of times, and said it wasn't bad ..... :)
I talked to Jay earlier in the week and my GLV3 (for me!) should get mailed out Wednesday. That will be in screamin' Granny Apple Green ......
QQ - how do you guys keep these buggers upright? Hubby knocked his over a couple of times already, and I almost had a heart attack. I want to use a tank on mine, and see a definite weight shift to the right .... :)
    Thanks!

I drilled a 1" hole in my computer desk with a spade bit. It fits perfectly, doesn't slide all the way down but the endcap rests nicely.

The wife was giving me funny looks when I came in with a drill and started in on my computer desk but it works!

I did see a picture on this forum awhile back where someone had a nice black cone thing theirs was propped in. Maybe someone knows what it was.

The "stand" classwife linked to works great with a Mini or Super Mini, not so much with full-size 5v; they're a little too top-heavy and require something deeper to eliminate the potential for tipping over.

Maybe I'm confused but if you're getting a GLV-3 it will stand up on its own and since it includes the feeder attachment, there's no need for a tank.

Scottintude - I am going to have to figure out that bottom-feeding, I've never done it and need the stuff in front of me to look at. I figured I might as well get the 3 since it was just a tich more, rather than later saying "D@mn .... I wish I'd gotten that ....."
At first I gonna whip that little baby off and vape like a fiend for a day or 2 with my tank .....

Oh, I was gonna ask .... what is the battery life average on the Mini? And what is it on the 2 at 3.7v? Since 2s are going on sale next week (?) I was think I might need one also ..... :)
