im not yet. id be doing probably two 14500s in series. or maybe a series and parallel setup with 4 rcr123as, two sets in series, then wire those two packs in parallel. id like a pot with buttons to adjust voltage up or down, and id also have a voltage reader after the atty connection im thinking

this is what im finding, but looks like to wire it up might take too much space. i dont know much about that kind of stuff. i know stuff like wiring breakers and outlets and lights. household wiring

so in all id say voltage would be 6.4-7.4v about

The DS1802's voltage input is 3v to 5v and your 2 batteries will be 7.4v to 8.2v fully charged. Plus that's a lot of chip for a mod. What will you be doing with the second variable resistance? Did you see my copper mod with a Digital Potentiometer? Check the signature link.

does the one button cycle back and forth from about 3.1-6.1v? that would be better than a screw for me but id like a button for up and down. as i said i dont know much about this chips and resistors and capacitors. ive been looking at other mods and seeing what i can take that i like and work it into something for me. im thinking either a wooden or plexi box held with magnets. then batteries to pot, then atty, then voltage reader, back to batteries.

Check out the video on the voltage range.

Also this is how I squeezed it into a 3/4" tube. Don't think you are going to to fit it into a 1/2" tube.

didnt want to open a new thread for this. im giving up on that for now. i have some modules coming, and in the specs it recommends a 10k pot. i want to keep things clean on this, and found this : Resistance Values: 10K – 1.5M

the pot they link says in the data sheet 10 ohms to 2 megohms data sheet, thats where im stumped, the 10 ohms in data sheet, when it states a 10k. also, what effects would 1.5M be to the 2M?

The data sheet for the pot with 10k - 1.5m means that you can order the size required. These are the sizes:
10K, 22K, 47K, 100K,
220K,330K, 470K,
500K, 1M, 1.5M

The second one says the pot comes in 10 to 2m ohms which are:
Resistance Resistance
(Ohms) Code
10 100
20 200
50 500
100 101
200 201
500 501
1,000 102
2,000 202
5,000 502
10,000 103
20,000 203
25,000 253
50,000 503
100,000 104
200,000 204

Nick, what exactly are you trying to make? what regulator would you be using? You had mentioned using (2) 3.7v batts or (4) 3.7v, (2) series and (2) parellel which would give you a 7.4v to 8.4v supply. You have to let me know which regulator you would like to use. the PTR08100w, OKR-T, etc....

MP2307DN 3A DC-DC Step-down Power Supply Module KIS-3R33S [MP2307] - US$0.79 : Satistronics Store, China Electronic Components Online Store - Wholesale Development Tools and Components from China
thats what i decided on... the OP... i dont remember what i was scheming up, probably a pipe dream
im going to be using that module, hopefully that pot w/switch, and a voltage display. the pots switch will be the master switch, not fire switch. it will have 12v input from my computer. i want to keep it as clean and un cluttered as possible, why im trying to find a pot with switch that will work
