Just wondering if anyone has tried the firefly from Liberty Flights. Thinking of getting the kit and was wondering how it vapes and if there is any quality control issues I should be aware of, and I like that it has a built in flashlight, that alone is handy. I can't find any reviews and the ecf search engine seems to be down, search page wont even load. Also is the firefly battery made by joyetech since its an eGo system.

OK, I just checked it out. This is not a genuine Joye product, so the batteries are not a genuine Ego batteries. Not that that in itself makes it a bad deal. The flashlight you mentioned is merely a small LED light ring, not really worth much.

The price seems too high to me, $64.99. Especially since you don't get a wall charger with it, only a USB charger. The whole thing is basically an Ego clone with an LED emitter that changes colors as the battery gets lower. Not very useful in my opinion. At least not for the price difference. A wall charger will cost you an additional 8 bucks or so.

I would look at the Ego kits and the Riva 510 kits if I were you. Don't forget to click the 20% discount button before you place anything in your shopping cart.

I agree with Bozzlite's assessment. Particularly on the price. This seems remarkably high priced for the features. Plus I would be leery of ego-clones. Not every knock-off part I have tried has been terrible, but few as good as genuine parts. I've seen genuine joyetech kits in the $45 - $50 range regularly. If you like the novelty of the light, I'd order an Ego-T kit from another sight and try one of their replacement batteries @ $22.49 (Still seems high), but it's less of a risk. That way you get a good kit to start with, and a cool light on your back up battery to play with when needed.

I'm currently using a ec502 kit I just bought today, I had a smoke51 a while ago bit the shop I was at quit selling them so it got shelved and I went back to ryo analogs :p... the s51 was crap but the batteries were great, they lasted all day on a charge.

Hey I had a 51 dou too, i hate those guys now....

The standard attys are easier for me to clean than the tank attires, but the tank system is way more convent to use when away from home, because a couple of back up tanks travel so well.

The tank attys are basically the regular attics with a Needle-Wick shoved in them, but the wicks can get clogged over time, and it is really difficult to get flavors out, so attys usually become unable before they burn out. Even if you clean them regularly with a steam-cleaner.

To me it's worth the extra atty or two I buy every couple of months for the convenience of the tanks. If you are looking at ego-batteries, Why not check out the ego-t atty instead of the 510-t att, it holds twice as much juice, just an option you might want to look at it.

So far the ec502 is ok... better hit than the s51 but the teeny tiny battery is just pathetic!... the whole thing with cart and atty is realy no bigger than a standard king size cigarette.. so far the atty and carts are better than the 51 but I wish my old batteries fit, the 51 batteries were awsome. There kinda small but there life was definately bigger than there size. Could just be the s51 cartomizers were insanely efficiant, but I don't know.. have no way to mesure the power draw and compare the two. I'm just going to get a standard eGo 510 in red from cignot.. unless someone else has it in blue or orange.. there's so dang many online shops its confusing.. black just doesn't appeal to me anymore..

Black is just easier to shop around to get batteries from other sites. Generally the joyetech stuff (510's and ego's) are pretty good. I'd recommend switching over to anyone who has the less common stuff. It's just easier to get a good price, and there are a ton of after market parts. I still have an 51 (several batteries, and tons of carts), but honestly haven't touched it since I got my 510, Eventually I switched to an ego for battery life.

Did you ever get burnt carts with your 51? Mine always seemed to burn on the 2nd or 3rd hit. So far the 502 has been GREAT in that area.. good hit with no burning.
