First 10 days with V4L

I started using a PV last Friday and have had a total of 5 analogs in the last 10 days. Today I decided I was done with them. A friend at work was picking on me for using the e cig last week. He said I looked feminine. My response was " If you don't like it, then I challenge you to come try to take it from me". He didn't. Anyway, this week he is trying to quit smoking with the gum. By 2:00 he was a nervous wreck, and ran over to another coworker and bummed a cigg. I know tomorrow he will have a pack of Newport's in his pocket. I remember participating in this cycle, and I am even more thankful for finding V4L than I ever was. I have already offered to lend him one of my batteries and carts, but he refused. Pride I guess.

This afternoon I was walking back into my work building.......there were a few guards standing outside smoking....and hacking, and coughing.....I just smiled and waved.....and THANKED the people here who have helped me! My coughing has subsided, my tastes have changed........and I still stand here amazed at it all!

Good for you, resist. The biggest question I get about the VK is: Does it REALLY work? A lot people don't believe it until after they try it or after they see someone else sticking with it and giving up the cigarettes for a long period of time. Your co-workers will see your success and I'm sure want to duplicate it. I don't know where they get "feminine" out of the VK, to me it's just a very cool looking gadget. As a matter of fact, I was talking to a lady in the parking lot of the grocery store the other day who was smoking, I couldn't believe how nasty that cigarette looked between her fingers. I gave her a card, I hope she orders, the ashes she was flicking out the window... I used to do that. Seeing that, among other things, makes me never want to go back.

A nurse that I work with chews that gum all the time. She gave me a piece one day, and out of curiosity I tried it, and... YUCK!! It tasted horrible and it burned my mouth.

To each his/her own, I guess!

I have turned multiple smoker friends on to PVs and am totally proud of it.

I definitely refrain from approaching random smokers to show them my VK though, unless they ask me about it. I know that if anyone tried to come up to me back in the day while I was trying to enjoy a cigarette and convert me, I would have just laughed at them.

I don't wanna be that creepy proselytizing guy, you know?
