Well it's been almost 24 hours since my last analog cig. Just a couple of hours away!

I wanted to start this post because I got some nervous energy right now LOL. I should have gotten some 24mg instead of 16mg but that was the strongest they offered when I got my kit.

Got my kit yesterday 3pm, and started right away. I smoked like normal before it got here. My buddie came over around 5-6 pm. He started vaping 3 months ago, and was the reason I finally jumped on the band wagon. I contacted Nikhil about meeting up to talk about his juice, he said he might be able to meet, but had stuff to do, and was pretty sure he prolly wasnt make it. This was perfect for us, we had a excuse to both go out and have some drinks. We both have wifes, and had a good reason to give them to go out LOL.

I know my hardest challenge was going to be 2 things. Not smoking when I drink, and my morning cup of joe with the paper. I know some you might say it was kinda soon for that challenge but as a former Green Beret I love a challenge! So we went to a bar I knew had a enclosed patio with plenty of smokers. Went to the bar ordered a pint, and a shot. Then went outside.

Well I puffed my PV alot, but was VERY shocked that I could be surrounded by cigarette smoke, and smokers. It was alot easier than I thought it would be. I have only been using a PV for a couple of hours mind you. I even felt comfy enough to order another pint. After that my bud wanted to get closer to home, so we got a six pack on the way. I wanted to test myself more. I dont drink much anymore (gettin older) but a challenge is a challenge LOL! So we went to the garage put on some tunes split the sixer, and played some darts. I was puffing heavy, but still not much urge for a analog cig.

Next challenge morning coffee, and the news paper. This was the toughest one so far! But I made it!

I am a little jittery, and I think some 24mg juice would help with that. But I have to say I have quit quite a few times in the past, and have used every nicotene replacement stuff out there. My e-cig has been shocking, I cant get over it. If anyone out there is thinking about trying it, this ole red neck HIGHLY RECOMENDS it!! I really really cant beleive it!

Well I might have spoken to soon, I prolly should have waited till the Cards were done playing ball this season. I am absolutely GOING BONKERS for a cig!!!! I'm pacing in front of the TV and my hands are shaking bad. LOL. This is getting to me badly, my nerves are going crazy.

Have you managed to get ahold of some higher nic e-juice yet?

Nah not yet, I need to get some. Its nothing new for me to get crazy when the cards are playing, and when I have my morning Coffee I always smoked alot. After the first half I calmed down.

There's something else to keep in mind, as well. If you're freaking out and need a cigarette ... smoke one. E-cigarettes aren't a patch or a prescription drug, you can use them together. When I first started, I was using them to fill in the gaps between when I needed a cigarette and when I just wanted one. For instance, before the e-cig I would smoke about 5 cigarettes on the drive from Louisville to Elizabethtown. With the e-cig, I would vape during the drive and then smoke one when I got there. I used to chain smoke when I was working at the computer as well. Same thing. Every two or three hours I'd have a smoke and fill in the rest with the e-cig. I did this for about a week while I was waiting on my 26mg e-juice to show up (I wasn't hooked in with the forum at that time so I didn't know anyone I could bum some juice off of). I was vaping all day and smoking about 5 or 6 analogs a day. That's not a failure in my book. Down from a pack a day to two packs a week is a roaring success in my book, even if that's where I'd stopped.

Also, don't be too hard on yourself. That just causes you to stress out and want to smoke even more. There's no penalty for smoking an analog when you need one so don't punish yourself over it. :)

Still going! No analog's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope I can make the meeting on the 9th. I prolly ride my bike if the weather is good, yes I'am one of those annoying bike riders you have to pass in your car LOL! I have seizures, and I had one and a car wreck this summer. I am allowed to drive but I wanted to go 6 months no driving no seizures so they could regulate my medicine better. Would have my wife bring me but she goes to Bardstown every saturday to grocery shop with her momma.

Was planning on going, but my friend (fellow vaper) that was suppose to bring me can not make it now. My wife is not home all day so she cant bring me. Maybe next meeting when I'm driving again. (Taking 6 months off driving, because of seizures) I could ride my bike but I don't have a decent lock, and it's a expensive race bike. Hope everybody has fun, wish I was there. Lord knows I could use a beer LOL.

If you need a ride, let us know. We would be more than happy to give you one.
