First anniversary!

I'm pretty new, but from the little time I've spent here I've learned more than I could ever ask for. All the members here seem so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. I wish this site good luck for the future

Hello everybody! In one week the forum reaches its first anniversary.

In this time the forum has evolved considerably, as has the number of e-cigarette designs! We've seen a strong community develop and continue to grow with a huge variety of people joining in.

We now have medical professionals, tinkerers, suppliers and general users all chatting, swapping ideas, helping newcomers out - in short a great group of people all united in one thing: trying to deal sensibly with an addiction that many have found impossible to break, and trying to do it in a safer fashion than has been afforded by tobacco products.

Who knows what the next year will bring - new technology? Better liquids? cheaper prices? One thing is for sure - we will be at the center, testing, tinkering, advising, complaining!

It's now been six months since the forum software was upgraded and I would love all members to take a minute to think about what, if anything, they would like improved in the site design, functionality or even rules of the site, and post it in this thread.....

Having only quit 'real' cigs 3 days ago this forum has provided some first class info and making the transition to e-cigs much easier - I'm converted and I smoked for over 25 years, Turkish blended Camel, Capstan etc right through to non filtered roll-ups! Thanks to everyone concerned and keep up the good work Smokey!

my little story is a simple on i cant stand the taste of these new FSC analog Smokes at all i grew up on the Gunpowder laced camels amd Marlbros. tried and was dubbed into the Smokeeverywhere mini POS. currently waiting on the Janty kissbox and mini. hoping to be happily vapping soon

Has anyone else developed a sore throat or sensitivity on the back of the tongue since using e-cigs?

I really enjoy my 901 and have cut down to 3 or 4 real cigs since using e-cig. It has been 2 weeks and the only side effect is the sore throat and the sensitivity to the back of my tongue.

I personally suffered from a VERY bad soar throat when I first started!

Go to the Health section, Oklahoma. That's where questions like these get addressed.

It should do yes. I didn't get a sore throat, just a very dry one. I seem to have adapted quite nicely though and that doesn't happen now.
