First attempt at Patina

This was my first attempt at Patina. It didn't turn out quite how I was hoping, but that's alright. I certainly learned a few key lessons like not to attempt it on an authentic mod on your first try and not to over salt. My next will be better. Hopefully.

I am not in the know when it comes to Patinas, but I was wondering if you could remove your forced patina by using the lemon juice or vinegar method? (The methods for cleaning copper)

I am itching to try the egg patina method when my copper mod arrives, but I don't want to be stuck with a dodgy looking mod if it doesn't turn out as planned.

Would have to remove the clear coat he used first but a water soluble soldering flux (plumbers) would remove the patina.
