Just wanted to do a quick update. I managed to make three different liquids tonight. One menthol, one Irish cream and pumpkin and one horchata. The menthol is my max strength of 24mg, the other two were 18mg. Starter base was 60mg in VG. I was too tempted to try blending so I only made one with just one flavor. Now that this is under my belt, I intend to test each flavor individually.
Recipes:
Menthol (based off simple menthol thread with creme de menthe replacing the wintergreen)
Creme de Menthe-6%
koolada-10%
menthol-2%
EM-1%

Iced Irish Pumpkin
Pumpkin-9%
Irish cream-10%
Koolada-10%

Horchata
Horchata-5%

I have not a single one of these so I can't really say if any is decent. I think that will be the fun part... Just have to let them steep right now.

Observation: the first formula I made was the hardest. I was practically shaking when I made it, haha. Second one was ok on my nerves and by the time I got to the third one I had much more confidence. I think making the hardest one first definitely made me more relaxed on the easier ones. During cleanup, I was worried about nicotine again but realized it wasn't a big issue at 60mg. I only had one stray drop and it was the pg. All syringes were rinsed with hot water and were purged repeatedly. After setup was organized, I had spent 30 minutes to make these... Slow for first time but was battling nerves.

Thank you all for the guidance. For anyone that is interested, I will follow up with the taste tests after they steeped. Thank you all once again!

Congrats, that is a wonderful feeling. I have got to the point where I like what I make better than what I have bought. And it saves a bunch of money that can be better used on other goodies. I have fallen in love with the vaping Zone's gourmet flavors and super concentrates. The cost a tiny bit more but you use so much less so I think it is even more economical. Loved every flavor I have tried so far. Good luck and happy mixing. :)

Congrats on your first mix. My observations would be that the koolata may be a bit high. I found 4% quite frosty. And the second mix your at almost 30% total flavor. You should start with individual flavors and start low like 3% to start then work up until your satisfied. That will give you an better idea on how much flavor you'll need when combining. Most don't go above 20% total flavor unless the flavoring is very weak (such as loranne flavors).

Haha, I agree and thought otherwise, I kept reading about one drop per ml, but in the 'simple menthol' thread, someone had it in their wintergreen/spearmint. I will most likely reduce this in the future. I really like a cold snap though and it looks like I will achieve an overwhelming cold snap haha.

I think you'll have a harsh chemical frost. Try the Koolada at 1-2 drops per 10ml first then adjust from there.
