i got it in the mail today and couldn't wait to get it started, i oxidized the wick built a coil, fired it up to check for shorts and hot spots and it needed no adjustments, i filled with juice and..... wow i like it, not sure what the ohms are but it's a cool vape on any voltage on my twist. (i know probably a bad idea) but it works and i'm happy

Great! My first attempt wasn't that good, but I had already watched a video of using a thin wisp of cotton at the top of the coil. I used a gue-tip for cotton, and it worked like a charm. If you run into problems and want to try it, just search for 'Mesh/Cotton hybrid' on youtube.

I have the Gen 1 also. Great little unit.

the o ring on the center post popped out and i didn't realize it and had to take the whole thing apart to "fix" it (ruined the o ring) but got it back together along with my coil which took a tweak to fix but over all i'm very happy with it

is the tank body supposed to get hot?

oh and i did the math with my twists amp limit and the voltage it would max out on and the coil came out to be 1.3 ohms but is still a cool vape.
