First copper tube mod questions

Hello,

I am interested in building my first mod, and based on conductivity and simplicity i figured a copper pipe tube mod would be best. ( length of pipe, 2 end caps, and a spring for the inside) (like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lllBZSrMzXw)

I do have a few questions though.

...first, is there a grade or type of copper pipe that is best to use

...also, where do you get the 510 battery connection for the top and how does it attach.

I've mounted ego/510 adapters with a bead of solder in the center post inside the cap to act as a possitive contact on the battery.
