Hello everyone. I just bought my e-cig earlier today, and was able to use it for an hour or so. Since it was new, I decided to stop using it and charge it. I did that for like 2-3 hours, the LED in the battery was dead already (the manual said that means it's done charging). I tried it and it worked for maybe 5 puffs. Then after that it just died on me. The "ember" LED lights up, but the coil does not get warm at all.

I'm sorry but I don't even know what model mine is. But it looks like a normal marlboro cigarette (white with a brownish filter), and can be disassembled into three: 1. Battery construct with LED; 2. the thing that screws onto the battery that has a metal mesh shaped like a U or a V, and a coil underneath that mesh thing; and 3. The replaceable/disposable(?) cartridge that has a aluminum foil later that is punctured by the U/V mesh thing.

2 Questions:
1. What model am I using? It's packaged as e-health cigarette in a small black box. It also has no buttons, it's supposed to work by just sucking on it like a normal cigarette.

and 2. Is it broken? I've tried blowing hard into the metal mesh part to clean the gunk out (but that's unlikely, only having used it for less than a day). The coil is cold. Help! :(

Oh and I'm in the Philippines, these things are kinda new here. They're probably sourced from China

Sounds like it could be a DSE-103. Yes, these are all made in China. Doesn't sound good if it isn't heating! Try recharging the battery (I know it is glowing, but might need charge to run the atty).

Try cleaning the brass contacts where it screws together (if they are wet from liquid, they don't make good contact).

Also, try pulling up the contact point (gently!) in the center of the battery and/or atomizer with a paperclip or other heavy wire. Sometimes they don't make good enough contact if you have over tightened the atty to the battery.

Did you buy liquid or are you just using prefilled cartridges? If just prefilled cartridges, it probably doesn't have enough liquid in it. Put a new one new cartridge on (you'll need to use a cartridge lots more often than they say you do). You won't get vapor without liquid. You can try some vegetable glycerine if you don't have e-liquid yet.

Add some e-liquid to the atomizer bridge and put some inside on the white poly filling inside the cartridge. You can pop the center piece to the cartridge up with a paperclip or wire (push up through the hole in the mouthpiece). Push it back down inside the mouthpiece when you have finished dripping liquid into it.

I'm not sure what you have... could be a 103? These mini cigs are a gateway intro product for most folks, as they don't run very well. There are plenty of places to order a decent model on line.

You can see if you can figure out which model you have by looking here E-Cigarette Models

There are plenty of great other e-cig models available that are relatively inexpensive. Try reading here

And, welcome to ECF! :D
