I was just thinking about the first day I used my new PV-3 weeks ago tomorrow. I had tried Blu a few days before and hated them but was out of money till payday so started wearing one of my patches. Saturday came and I went and got my first eGo CE6 and two juices at 16g strength. I went home and started charging the battery and was very anxious to try this. I had not bought a pack of analogs so was still wearing patch. Once it was charged and filled, I tried it and instantly loved it. After just a few "hits" I started feeling very sick, shaky, cold sweat etc. and was freaking out. I mean it was bad. About then I looked down and realized I still had on my patch-24mg strength. So, basically, I was getting 42mg of nicotine. I ripped that patch off quick and didn't vape until I felt better. I had never experienced nicotine OD before but it is not pretty. Never want to feel that again.

It's a funny story but it is also a warning to people. Nicotine OD is very serious and very fast, do not take the warnings lightly. It worked out fine for me but it could have been a very bad situation. I also started noticing that I was getting very mild headaches every day and thought it might be a side effect. What I have learned is that this too is a slight OD. What's happening is, even though I'm only using 18mg juices, I tend to "hit" it more often than I would have smoked regulars. In the past I'd smoke one cigarette an hour usually. I'm vaping every couple of minutes sometimes, just a couple of hits but it's enough to cause the headaches. So from now when I make my juice orders, I'm going to lower my mg and see if that helps. The headaches aren't bad, just enough to know they're there but still don't want them.

Just some friendly advice and a little laugh :)

I've been having these issues lately

It's kind of like with smoking. Since lighting one up taking care of the ashes etc. was so much of a bother you usually don't light one up if you're doing something or distracted, but I have a tendency to chain smoke when playing cards, drinking, or doing a social activity.

Now that I'm vaping and it's so easy to just price a button my tendency to chain smoke when in social situations has translated to everything. Especially when I'm at the computer or playing video games, etc.

It was a blessing at first because I've been using vaping to cut out snacking, getting some nice flavor instead of going to see what's in the fridge, but I was getting the headaches and the sickness. So what I did was get a few of my all day vapes with no nicotine, putting them on my ego, and smoking them when I'm on the computer, and then having my nicotine filled smoke on another mod out of hand reach just to have a puff when I'm craving.

i chain vape 2.5 MG per mL pretty much all day long. commercial cigarettes and some rolling tobaccos are loaded with a number of chemicals that potentiate the effects of nicotine i just figured the headaches are normal for someone who is kicking analogs. when you ingest 4000 and some odd chemicals everyday for years your body becomes used to them. lots of people report side effects of using e-cigs but upon investigation you will find most these side effects are found most commonly in people who stop smoking. in rare cases people seem to be allergic to PG or VG (the main substance that is in e-liquid)

You've found out about one of the problems with vaping, you don't smoke one and done. It's sometimes too easy to constantly vape, if your strength reflect this, you'll be just fine. OR
you can "drop that PV, back away slowly, keep your hands where I can see them and nobody gets hurt"....

I don't know, someone may get hurt if they try to take my PV away. It's like my coffee, you just don't mess with it lol. I really like it so I'm just going to have to reduce strength

Funny you should mention that, I'm vaping my espresso as I type...:)
Just keep some higher strength around if you get cravings, lower strength for constant vaping...:vapor:
