OK
I have been vaping 3 months and today was a first for 2 things.

1. I didn't have an analog with my morning coffee.

2. I actually drove somewhere and did not fire one up.

Two firsts in one day...

This is why I tell newbs to not sweat it if they still smoke. The more you vape - the less you want analogs.

It isn't "trying" to quit analogs - you simply desire them less the more you vape. If that happens day one or day 190 - it doesn't matter.

I solved the coffee & cigarette problem by mixing FSUSA CoffeeX & RY4 together in a 50/50 mix. The taste of coffee and tobacco in one juice. It works great for me. And, if you don't want to do any mixing get the Seattle Blend from Gourmet Vapor - nearly the same taste, but not as sweet.

Congrats, Doc! I agree that the longer you vape, the less desire you have for analogs. I've said before that it was actually never my intention to quit analogs, yet it just sort of happened after day 1. My associations with analogs were usually coffee, driving, drinking alcohol, boredom, after eating, facilitating lower intestinal movement, etc. And now, I can blow clouds and rings without the carcinogenic repercussions.

Congrats Doc on your day of first ! I had no problem getting over the analog with coffee but the analog while driving was MUCH harder for me to resist. Hope to go nic free at some point in the future and sometime after that go vape free but I have absolutely no doubt the last place I'll still be vaping IF that time ever comes is while driving !

Yeah, the weird thing was I had no overwhelming desire to have one. Before if I had no analogs I would trip...

I never in a million years thought I would see the day when I could make it 24 hours without smoking an analog. I tried to quit smoking right away, when I first started vaping, but it didn't take. So I told myself, that's ok, I'm down to just a few a day, I'll be happy with that. And I was... until I simply didn't like smoking anymore. Vaping tastes better and doesn't stink to high heaven. It was that easy.

Congratulations, Doc!!!

analog while driving: not too bad............got my first truly NEW truck a couple years ago and decided it would be a "non-smoking" area just like the inside of my house........Morning coffee????????? this is one thing I DREADED trying to remove my analog habbit from. Went off without a hitch though. Congrats on your first and just wait to see how much better that cup of coffee tastes in a couple days when the flavor is not polluted by ashes on your tongue. LOL.

Congrats Doc-what a great step forward for you.
The more steps our bodies take towards breaking all those little habits that smoking embeds in our brains the better off we become.
You are a step closer to freedom.
My biggest hurdle to cross was not freaking out when I had 2 cigarettes left in a pack and it was midnight. I used to always stop at the store to pick up a pack on the way home and if I forgot, I would have to go back out and get more. I would panic if I was low, just knowing I had them was calming to me.

Grats man! I don't drink coffee, but that "roll out of bed" smoke was crucial for me. I knew I had analogs kicked the first day it was below 40 outside and I could vape indoors (never smoked indoors out of respect for my non-smoking fiance's health and comfort)

Driving + analogs was one of mine too. That's gone now, though I vape like a madman while driving (yaay box mods).

Well, now if I can not smoke while trading - ha. I was long Wells today and the market moved down a bit ago and I panicked and sold out too early... and had to have a cig...still made money, but they jammed me... I would be up a lot if I just left it alone...oh well. Such is life.

Point being, that is my last hurdle.... nerves get going... want an analog... I tended to chain smoke when in a trade...

Stress = smoking, for me at least.
