Hello my name is Mickey and I'm a coffee addict....and a nicotine addict....and etc. etc.

I know everyone is different, but I can tell you that vaping Banana Nut Bread or Gingerbread or Cinnamon Bun with my fresh ground morning coffee is WAYYYYYY better than the Camel Lights/coffee I was used to.

Another prime example that everyone's experience is going to be different, and we will all face our own unique challenges in this and any endeavor.

My .02....get you some dessert, or breakfast treat type juice and try that with your coffee. Oh and invest the very small additional cost on "Premium" juice (and coffee for that matter)......you will be glad you did.

EDIT: oh yeah....one other thing.....that man of few words thing.....I DON'T have that problem :)

I went through a coffee tastes like sticks in hot water phase too but happily it didnt last.
I do find coffee flavor vapes compliment coffee quite well - oddly food to me doesn't go with food flavor vapes (like cake with pundcake vape).
I always said I'd never use tobacco type flavor vapes but Ive found I quite enjoy them and Halo's Freedom goes very well with coffee imo :)

Coffee tastes so much better vaping than with an analog, maybe cheap coffee tastes nasty, I'm from the coffee drinking capitol of the
US so we generally don't do bad coffee. Try some high grade coffee and then you might find your taste buds highly amused.

Hi fellow Tacoman. Yep, we are the coffee snobs, aren't we? I cannot stand the regular Folgers, Maxwell House and that sort anymore. The lowest I go is Safeway Select, not bad in the dark roast.

I have not had a problem with coffee but I vape coffee flavors most of the time along with the morning coffee.

one thing we have to remember when we quite analogues is that our taste buds will change as they are reverting back to normal, smells tatse breathing etc are all going to change as we are no longer hurting our bodies with 4,000+ chemicles, it may take hiours or days depending on how long we were smokers but things will go back to normal after this.

I went through a couple odd coffee phases when I quit smoking and started vaping.

Phase One: Caffeine seemed to have less effect on me. I could drink way more coffee (and did).

Phase Two: I lost my taste for coffee. Well not entirely, but I didn't enjoy it as much and drank less of it for a while.

Phase Three: My desire to drink it came fully, back but I liked it less sweet than I always had.

Finally... I'm now back to exactly how I'd always been: Loving my coffee, drinking it at the same level of sweetness I always had and feeling its effects as I always had. :)

It's weird how much smoking (and quitting) affects your body and taste buds.

I must say this thread is a fascinating read.

I just passed my 2 week vaping mark a couple days ago(quit analogs at the same time). I smoked for 25+ years(with a couple bouts of quitting for 1-3 years in there). Smoked nearly a pack a day of Camel Lights for about the last 15 years. I've always loved coffee, the smell, the taste, just divine. Coffee and cigarettes are a match made in hell.

My coffee drinking patterns have also changed. I used to make a 16 oz. cup of nice quality coffee at home in the morning and drink it on my drive to work while chain-smoking 4 or 5 cigarettes. This continues, but the chain-smoking has now been replaced by chain-vaping. At work, I would drink another couple of cups of the industrial crap coffee(it's free) later in the morning, and then sometimes another cup later in the afternoon. What I've found is that I can no longer tolerate the bad stuff at all. I just have no motivation to drink it. I've probably only had a couple of cups of it in the last two weeks.

The other thing is that I've gotten in the habit of drinking the frozen capuccino that you can get at the gas station. I used to HATE that stuff, and lately I find myself drinking it nearly every day. I've always taken my coffee bold, black, with sugar. I'd drink a cappuccino maybe once or twice a year, and I never liked iced or frozen coffee drinks of any kind. Weird.

After 50 years of smoking and having tried 5 different times, I have found that vaping is the way to go. Coffee, still one of my favorite things in the morning and then a good cup in the afternoon. Vaping has made a lot of changes in my life and the list of good changes could fill a book. Since I started vaping 23 days ago, I have about a dozen friends that have laid down the cigs. Funny, my husband still smokes and it doesn't bother me at all. I am sooo proud of myself! Still gotta have the coffee though

My experience with coffee has changed too. I used to take my coffee with cream and quite a bit of sugar....one of the main reasons for this was because the strong, sweet taste helped to get rid of the taste of analog cigs!

Now that I vape, I find that the way I take my coffee actually drowns out the flavor of what I'm vaping :p

As such, I've tried to switch to taking my coffee black without any sugar.

On a related note, vaping vanilla and drinking coke is awesome!!!

    hey guys,
My Reva came yesterday and one battery is charged and ready to go but, going from a 508 is a learning curve. Is there a video that shows you what all the gadgets are for?
One daughter has the ego and suggested the Reva instead and the other daughter is getting ready to join us but, I don't want to be completely dumb as she is going for the Reva also.
    Give me some help here.
