So approaching the 3 week mark and it's great! Got some smok DCT cartotanks and a vivi nova and notice the flavor better with the cartotanks but the vivi beats them in vapor. The vapor with the vivi is a lot fuller than the cartos which I'm a little bummed about. Using 2ohm dual coils set around 3.8-4v on my evic. Should I maybe bump it up higher on the voltage? Don't want to burn them so I've been keeping with the +2 for the voltage setting.

There is also a great iPhone/iPad app (maybe droid too) called Circuit Calc to help you calculate your watts with the resistance of clearomizer/cartomizer/Atty you are using and the volts you set evic too. Most find their wattage "sweet spot" depending in the juice and try to get it there. That varies from 7 watts to some liking up over 12 (the higher, the more throat hit typically). I'm about an 8-9 depending. That is until you get into RBA's and then you tend to like it even higher as they seem to handle more power without a burned taste. If you want to take it another notch, of recommend a reasonable mechanical (under $100) and a kick by Evolv as it regulates your mechanical to match whatever resistance you put on it to reach your wattage "sweet spot". It's about $45 shipped.

Welcome to the forum I am new as well. I have to say when you start vaping it is out of this world. I love the ego-c, and still on occasion use mine, but now I have gotten in to mods. I have a lambo now as well as a mechanical mod my bestie gave me for my genesis atomizer. (still getting used to that one). If you like menthol get the menthol crystals for your juice, they are positively great. I find that sometimes when you get a menthol that its not all that great, so you add a crystal or to and tada all fixed.

After spending a day with one of my new cartotanks, I don't like it. Vapor production is still about a 1/3 of what my vivi nova is and though the flavor is better, I want a lot of vapor too. Maybe Smoktech DCT are just bad but I've read on here of people talking about more vapor etc. etc. and whatever.

I tried 2 different priming methods, one just dripping in drip by drip and the other using a bottle with the metal syringe on it then putting into the tank when they look "slushy" and fill tank. Same performance for both. They're 2ohm and I was keeping voltage around 3.8-4.0v on my evic which is about 7.5-8w. Any other suggestions? Do Boge cartos have the flange on the bottom like the Smoktech DCT and would they work with the Smoktech tank (6ml)? Also, am I suppose to use the little rubber stopper with the hole in the middle or is that optional? I hadn't put it in either and decided to put it in one of the cartos but not much difference.

Another little update, guess this is going to be sort of my log for my progression/achievements with vaping.

Today at work one of the guys I would usually bum a cig to when I'd take a break asked me if he could have one when we took break and I told him "Sorry man, I don't need 'em anymore." Just now started thinking about it and I must say, I'm feeling great with a huge grin on my face now as I'm typing this. It's absolutely insane the way cigarettes get so engrained into us, our brain and life, that to finally know I am freed of them is a huge weight off of my chest. 3 weeks in now and am thinking I might be able to get away with dropping my nic down. Was vaping on a mix of 18 and 8 almost 50/50 of the 2 and had no bad cravings at all today!
