I got my 510 kit yesterday and fired it up after lunch. I must say that I can see promise, but I ended up alternating analogs for the day. The prefilled carts i got from Cignot taste like crap. I got 2 small bottles of Marlboro 18mg and Hillington 26 mg and have been topping off the prefilled carts with them for some more flavor. I guess I need to get some empty carts and start looking for juice? Overall, I guess like all noobs, I need to bone up on hardware, mods and the jargon to get me to the best place to quit...

Welcome to ECF every one is different but when I started I found the ejuice that should have tasted like tobacco where just terrible tasteing to me I did find I liked cuban cigar and special roast coffee so those have been my all day vapes like I said its different for every one but think about trying other things besides just tobacco flavors you might be surprised.

Well don't feel too bad, I love cignot for my equipment but I hated the pre-filled carts too. It seems that no matter where you order, the pre-filled stuff isn't going to be great. I wouldn't automatically assume you need a mod, I'm finding out slowly that little things and the right juice can really change your experience.

I placed an order with FreedomsmokeUSA for a ton of their tobacco flavors, based on all the reviews I've read about them. You may want to try some of their samplers which I think come in 24mg strength. I also heard a bunch of good things about Don's Backwood Brew and you can find plenty of other reviews in that forum.

Once you get some juice-pull the filler material out of the carts and wash it under warm water. Put it in a papertowel and roll it to dry it out. Once it is dry-restuff the carts with the cleaned filler.
1. Put a toothpick between the filler and cart and create a space for air as you refill the cart.
2. You could drip about 5-6 drops of liquid into the empty cart, slowly put the filler back in the cart, allowing it to absorb what you put in the cart and then top off the filler with a couple more drops.

The filler should look like a slushy/slurpee on top when filled. If the liquid pools on top of the filler then dab it with your papertowel.
Wash your hands after refilling. You do not want to rub your eyes if you have nicotine juice on your fingers!
You can use tweezers for messing with the filler material.

Also dont leave your eyedrops bottle near your ejuice supplies - they look surprsingly similar in low light - trust me, you don't want to do this..yeah ok like I did lol
My eye was fine btw - just stung like a you-know-what for a while.

Prefilled carts can suck btw (although cignot used to do a wonderful capuccino which they dont carry now for their new kits) - I buy pre-made juice and refill my carts myself - although I got rid of filler and just drip now - much easier :)

I have a 510 too and had issues with not only the pre-filled carts, but also the 10ml juice I ordered with the kit. It all tasted blech to me and I couldn't get a decent vape.

Yesterday, my first consignment of juice arrived (from a decent supplier) and wow....!! What a difference! It was like vaping a totally new e-cig. Clouds of vapor and a great taste.

Moral of the story - Get your juice from a good vendor and mix your own.

welcome casper, and btw we all have been where you are at now! also, it took me a month to completely give up analogs altogether. the best advice i can give you is to read as much as you can in this forum and other forums to help you decide what route to take, i have been vaping for 6 months now and am currently using a wooden box mod that has a plunger to deliver the juice to the atty.

once you find a juice that you can vape all day, stick with it and avoid trying too many new juices as you will find yourself with tons of juice you will never use!

Sincerely Greg
