Start at 5% and adding as needed is the way to go. I made my first batch of 555 using 15% flavor last night and the smell so over powering. I have yet to vape it and letting it steep a day before I do. Im hoping its not too much but my gut says it is.

I feel lucky that from the start my DIY juices have been very successful. I have only had one truly aweful experience and that was with a bacon flavor ...eww.

My first attempts involved chocolate and cherry flavors and they all turned out lousy and harsh. Only later did I find out that chocolate and cherry flavors were two of the more difficult flavors to work with. Since then it's been all uphill ... or is it downhill ... whatever.
1st, 2nd and 3rd batch was great. On the 4th one I got cocky, no notes, listening to some music and it turned into an unsalvageable mess. Lesson learned...focus, focus and focus.
