So I got started in the lab today. lol
Mixed two batches so far. Using 60mg Nic at 75pg/25vg, PG, and PA and Lorann
First batch was just tobacco (PA). made 5mL at 15% flavor. Found it to be "analogey" (lol) more than any other tobacco juice I have tasted. .....Unfortunately, that seems to be a taste I am no longer into.
I still like tobacco flavors very much, especially Max Boro from FSUSA, but this one I made is a bit too strong. So to tame it a bit I added 5 drops "cotton candy", which I'm told is just Ethyl Maltol. A bit better, but I think next time I make a tobacco flavor I will lower the tobacco flavor to 10% or less. Also with this one not noticing a great deal of vapor, but I am using a new atty, so....
Second batch was based on Brach's Maple Nut Goodies candy. I made 10mL at 20% flavor (1/3 PA maple, 1/3 Lorann Peanut Butter, 1/3 Lorann English Toffee). This one I like though it doesn't taste like the candy at all. I couldn't find a "peanut" flavor, just peanut butter. I think next time I will go with a bit more maple and toffee and a bit less peanut butter or just peanut. But I still consider this a success!
On a side note anybody know where I can get a grapefruit DIY flavor.
I am looking to make a menthol tobacco for my girlfriend. As I said I have PA tobacco. I also have PA menthol juice as well as some menthol crystals.
Any ideas as to what the menthol to tobacco ratio should be? Should I use the crystals or the juice?
