I have finally gotten something that I think might be worth making again. First post by the way!

Chocolate Covered Pineapple

TFA Double Chocolate (Clear) 15%

Lorann Pineapple 5%

Lorann Bavarian Cream 3%

TFA Sweetener 2%

I used RTS VG Nicotine and Walmart VG. Came out to 75/25 VG/PG. I mixed to 20 Mg Nicotine strength. Tastes pretty good to me! Any input would be appreciated..

congrats on finding something you made and like i love doing my own diy. i get my stuff from the flavor apprentice and wizard labs and usually keep the flavoring in the 10% range ive heard that 10-15% is the norm for flavoring portion on here but whatever works for you its your recipe do what you like and what seems to work for you congrats again

Thanks! I just mixed a 3 Ml test batch and added flavoring until it tasted like something good. I then mixed a 30 Ml bottle and steeped it in warm water until it cooled. Did this 3 times and then left bottle open in a dark place for a couple of days. Percentages seemed kind of high to me also but what do i know? I'm still very much a noob diy'er. Sure tastes good though..

Love DIY. Does sound like a pretty high flavor % though. I usually mix at 9-13%. And you definitely go through a much more complicated steeping process than I would ever do. But what ever works for you is great, that's what vaping is all about. I just leave my juice in the seeping cabinet, stir and swirl them whenever I pass by, and then eventually pour it into bottles. Call it the lazy man's steeping. And of course since I have cats, can't leave juice out where they can mess with it.

I also get most all my DIY supplies and lab ware from Wizards labs. Great prices and fast shipping.

Congrats on the juice.

DIY is pretty fun. Single flavors are not that difficult but when you start trying to mix flavors it can be tricky. There are a whole bunch of recipes on ECF that members have already gone through the trial and error on though. Thankfully! This is my first DIY recpie that I came up with on my own that I thought was really worth making again. I say go for it! You can save some serious $ over store bought juices and it's pretty gratifying when you vape something that you created and it tastes really good..

Never tried FW. Where do I find the best selection and prices for FW favorings?

Best place I have found is ecigexpres, they also have a pretty good flavorless nic juice with PG?VG Blends in different strengths. Never had a bad experience with them and shipping has always been prompt.

Don't worry abput what % is the correct one.
It's whatever suits you.
It's not uncommon for the premixed flavors you buy to have percentages up to 30%
(Got that from an insider who works for vape sites).

The FW (Flavor West) brand is carried by Mt. Baker, and they have very reasonable prices.
Also, FW is known for being one of the weaker flavorings.
Their own website recommends starting at 15%.

You will also find that the same flavoring will vary a great deal from company to company, as to how strong it is,
and how much you need to add.
You may love your recipe, then try using Capella's Golden Pineapple instead of LoAnn Pineapple,
and POOF ... it doesn't taste the same at all
Keep very detailed notes.
Vaping Zone has one I love called Caramel Cappuccino. It's VERY strong.
You only add 1 drop to a 10ml bottle.

If you taste buds are like mine, you'll be using around 20% flavoring.
But ... that after smoking for 56 years, and destroying most of the taste buds.
There are some flavors I can't taste no matter how much I use.

To each his own, and you will come to your own level with DIYing.
There is not a ..."not enough' or ..."to much" standard

Have fun with your ever developing hobby.
