I got all the stuff, including the free calculator.
Flavor Arts white grape is the flavor I used. On the web site I got it at they said this was really concentrated and to start out at 5%. I knew that I wanted double grape so I used 10%.

PG/VG I used 60/40. and 12 mg nic.

Waited till I needed a new carto in my one tank. Made 5 ml of this and when I vaped it there was little or no taste. Don't understand this?

I have always figured that part of the problem is that my taste buds on my tongue are shot from 40 years of heavy smoking. I ask my wife to taste this vape and she said that she could taste the grape but not very much.

Question? How hi can you go with the percentage of flavor before it starts to inhibite the vapeablity of the juice?

The number one key to DIY'ing is TOO MUCH flavor = NO FLaVOR . Try lowering the percent a bit and add a sweetener or/and lemon juice . ALso it may be that the particular flavor your using doesnt make for a great standalone . Sometimes you need to add other flavors to enhance the juice your looking for .

All flavors vary widely in percent . Best is to do a individual test of the flavor . Try starting at 2.5 then test ,then 5 test ,then 7.5 test ,then 10 test and on and on

I differ from Str8 in that I like my flavors strong and seldom go under 20% total flavoring, plus I don't count my sweetener in the equation. If I go lower I don't get the rich, full flavor that I and others love in my mixes. So don't eliminate the possibility it needs more flavor. You'll get a lot of opinions and no one person here has all the answers. Play with it and see what works for you.

Not differing from me . I like my flavors as strong as sweet as possible . I try to get it where its at its strongest and 1 more % would start dropping in flavor from too much . I really wish i could just melt real chocolate and vape it sometimes lol . I am a Msts fan after all . Depending on the mix the average i find is about 15-18% total flavoring before they start loosing flavor . I try to also accommodate for steeping so i make it where i can just taste the sweetness and body and after it steeping a super flavorfull . Everytime i try to make it super tasty right away after it steeps i lose a lot of flavor because of over flavoring . There is the occasional juice that will require a slight bit over 20% total .

I find that all of my FlavourArt flavors benefit greatly from steep time. The more concentrated a flavor is, the more benefit it gets from steep time. FA White Grape is one of my faves.

I personally think every flavor there is by anybrand tastes 10x better with steeping . They always get thicker, sweeter and more true to the name

Thank you everyone for all the replies.

The steeping? Can you vape it while it is steeping or do you need to leave the lid on and not disturb it? Maybe a stupid question but there it is. LOL

steeping is just letting the juice mix sit (capped or uncapped) for a few days/weeks. no reason to not test it every few days to see its status.
