Thanks for the info Chrissie, the Riva is looking like another good option, although now I'm leaning more towards using either the Riva or eGo battery and the vision stardust clearomisers, so I'm guessing the Riva battery will work fine with these cartomisers seen as they're all 510 threading?

Pics looking good gwg73, yeah i think a started kit just to be on the safe side would be the best idea! you can buy some fairly minimal ones so as long as its got a couple batteries im happy, and the empty cartridges that come in the starter kit could be used to test out some new flavours, and i suppose i got the backup tanks/atomisers in the starter kit too should anything go wrong with the stardusts! which by the sounds of it is sounding near impossible lol

And again thanks for the help, this is all very useful!

Yes, you can use the Vision Stardust on the Riva battery.

Another thing to consider when choosing the battery is, the higher the mAh, the longer the battery will last between charges.

yeah i think im gonna just go for the riva you linked me! and get the mothers day discount and probably pick up some juice while im there and get the stardust clearomisers from .........! should put me back around £60 but hopefully last me a month or 2 with some good maintenance!

is the safevape site you linked me for the riva a trusted seller? sorry if you answered this before haha

edit: sooo it seems the website i wish to get it from is censored here for some reason lol, pretty strange, are they a bad seller or is it just anti-advertising rules of the forum?

either way i think im settled, if the safe vape riva's are a reputable source then i think i'll be ordering those tonight!

Sorry for delay in replying Edotman.

Yes, the UK site selling stardusts that samyaza tried to link to, is censored from here. I'm not sure why as they are a good seller.

Vape Escape I linked to for the Riva is a very trusted seller & also a registered ECF Supplier. Just realised though that the 15% discount code MOTHERSDAY was only till 8pm tonight :( However, you can still get 10% off by using discount code ECF10. Don't forget to ask for the atties to be swapped for Boge Cartomisers, they really are brilliant. -

If you are planning on going with ego/riva style batteries let me make one last MAJOR suggestion: if you can, look for "USB passthrough" batteries if you are going to buy separate instead of a kit!

Simple reason: no messing with specific chargers, instead, the tip of the battery unscrews and has a standard USB port that you can charge it with (it's the same USB cable used to charge a blackberry phone so they are cheap and easy to find) make sure to get 900mah or higher for the longest usable time before recharging and I would absolutely try to find low resistance or LR stardusts. The normal ohm stardusts don't produce as much vapor and aren't as satisfying as the LR version. I wish I could give you links in the UK but I don't know any vendors there... I'm Canadian and not sure what the conversion or shipping would be like on your side of the river.

Good luck and when in doubt, come back here to ECF and there will always be people to help, give advice and encourage you!

These guys got me going in the right direction and I owe them my health and my time!

Thanks a lot guys! I basically caved in and went for the eGo-T from i-vapour, thought I'd take the safe bet with the official Janty supplier, also ordered 2 Stardust Clearomisers aswell as I've heard nothing but good things about them! Also got some different E-liquids to test out as the i-vapour eGo-T only comes with 5.5ml of Janty RY4

I'm going to use the other site posted by Chrissie in order to get some good cheap liquids!

Thanks for all the help guys, I'm pretty excited to be starting this journey, in 2 days I quit smoking and start vaping!

Chrissie is right the Boge cartos are awesome! They are my primary vape when my stardusts get too dirty and I have to clean them.. (I'm lazy and let them soak and just use a Bohr carto for a few days and then back to stardust lol)

But definately order 1 or 2 drip tips. They dont have to be fancy or expensive... I pay 2-3$ each and they last forever and make it so much easier to add juice to the Boge cartos

As for juice, I started with 24mg and then over 2-3 months I dropped to 18 and now 12mg...

Planning to drop to 6mg over the summer and then smoke/vape free by Xmas but we will see... Maybe I'll keep vaping but at 0mg lol. I like te flavors and for me it's a gadget lol

All the best!

yeah good on ya man! im planning on doing the exact same sort of thing, going to go with an 18mg to start, then over the course of a year or so slowly drop my mgs down till im at zero, although i have decided if i get to 0mg i will occasionally vape just for the enjoyment of the flavour/smoking lol

Toby at I-vapour is an excellent supplier so you haven't gone wrong buying from him :)

I was just trying to help you save some money & any grief that some folks have had from leaking T's. Really looking forward to hearing how you get on with it though, I reckon you will love it :D

Haha cheers, but I'm hoping that with the Stardust Ego Clearomisers I won't be having any leaking problems at all! Also quick question do you know where I can get any good flavour sample pack E-liquids? im having trouble finding some good ones, i ordered 30ml flu cured tobacco from ........., planning on making that my primary vape so i dont miss the cigaretters too much, but was hoping to try out some flavours too! i'll more than likely stick with just buying 10ml from the couple sites you've given me already but if theres a good sample pack with mixed flavours out there that isnt 0mg nicotine I'll definitely give that a go!

Edit: yeah i fell for the safer cigs censoring again, mysterious

Lol, always worry about linking to Vape escape in case folks think I'm affiliated to them in anyway but I wont even let any supplier help pay for the running of my forum. But once again, they do pick & mix samples of Grizwald juices that are really good juices mixed in the UK (again, you can use discount code ECF10 for 10% off) -

Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

Another favourite is Paradise vapes - especially their Drum, L&B & Benson & Fences tobacco flavours -
E-Juice - Tobacco Flavour - Paradise Vape UK _ Vape dont smoke

YW Edot :)

The easye-liquid is dekang juice. Not got as much flavour as the better ones I linked to, but more than vapable - a couple of weeks ago they had an even cheaper opening offer for their new UK site (had bought from their parent site before). So being a skinflint & never being able to resist a good deal, I bought quite a few bottles :D

Nice! I finally ended up settling on 30ml of a hangsen flue-cured tobacco, i used to be a rollie smoker and though I am not hoping for anything near the taste of Cutter's Choice I'm hoping its not completely alien to me haha, bought that one as my main smoke, then bought a variety of 10ml fruity ones from easy-eliquid, although I bought the Koko ones from them, any experience with those?
