First E-Cig

Hey Everyone

Got my first E-Cig in the post this morning and just stumbled across this forum so thought I would say hi I went for the 'Super (10cm) E.Cig' from The Electronic Cigarette Company. I have no idea if it is a good model or absoloute rubbish compared to the others... I just wanted one that looked as close to a cigarette as possible as I figured that would make switching easier.

I had it on charge for a few hours, and just tried it for the first time whilst sat at my desk in work. I have to say I am totally amazed by it and so are all the other people in the office... so much so that the guy next to me logged on and ordered one himself straight away! No negative comments, no trouble, just people telling me how great it is and asking where to get them (even the non smokers, for family).

I am going to take it to the pub tonight, and then to a club. As I mainly listen to metal music and spend my time in rock pubs/clubs I can't see any of them having any problem with this whatsoever as they are an extremely open minded crowd in general. Can't wait to try it in shopping malls or on aeroplanes, as that will put it to the real test.

Yay for the E-Cig! Best invention EVER!

Hi Gimby, welcome to the forum.

It's a great invention, I agree. We're the converted here though, the real test comes when it goes public big time.

These devices are not very reliable yet and we don't know how safe they are long term but chances are that they are better than tobacco.
