Hi all! Trying to get a few introductory posts in so I can ask some real questions.
First, I'll say I'm new to committing to vaping. I've tried a pull from my sister's mod, it was rum and coke, I hated it. I've had a few e cigs, the little metal ones where the end lights up, also not a permanent substitute, though it lasted a while.
I've recently started working at a new job and about half of the people on "smoke breaks" are vapers. I've since purchased a vape pen from a Co worker who ended up not liking it.
It's been nothing but trouble. First, it seemed the battery was no good, so I bought new. Turns out it was fine but wasn't getting a charge. Then my first burnt coil. Icky! When replaced, it wasn't screwed in properly, so it leaked. So more issues with the battery. Finally, I watched some online videos and I cleaned my set up, carefully screwed in my coil and primed it properly, and I was satisfied. Problem being, I still have issues with the pen leaking, it seems that when I fill it, the o rings are displaced and it may or may not leak. Always a crap shoot.
I've since ordered so much vape stuff (waiting on delivery for much of it) but I am getting discouraged about so many aspects. I like the pen, when it works. But it's an emotional Rollercoaster getting started without that elusive mentor....it doesn't help that I'm unsure of what pen I own as things go over my head quite quickly. Add far as I know it's a clearimizer, or something like it (has a little window) with a variable voltage battery from 3.3 to 4.8. My spare is just a basic 900mah. No adjustments. It takes a 1.8 ohm atty (at least that's what's in it).
recently purchased a vv pen on ebay and 2 eleaf with starre tank .25ohm coils that are yet to be delivered. Honestly, if the pen worked, I'd be happy with it.
