Mini VapeStack

I've been using the Mini VapeStack sold at madvapes (Mini VapeStack Black) for a few days and I am so pleased with it. Here's my short review.

Pros:
(1) Size: It's the smallest mod I've owned. It fits perfectly, and comfortably, in my hand. It would be really great for those trying to stealth vape or those preferring a more inconspicuous vape. It's also relatively light and comfy.

(2) Button: The placement of the button on the top, rather than side or bottom, is my favorite feature. I haven't really liked those mods that have the bottom button; they're a little too awkward for me to reach. The VapeStack is really comfortable and feels more natural, but I haven't accidentally set it off. That's a plus too!

(3) Body: It's very sleek. The pics posted at MadVapes don't really do it justice. The finish is really professional, very clean and polished. The colored drip tips are really nice too!

(4) Drip Tips: I have had no problems with the tip. I don't find it too narrow. I've used the standard drip tip and the Delrin and Wide-Mouth tips and have not noticed any appreciable difference. This may be a matter of personal preference, though. I have also used the 510 carto, and an 808 carto with adapter, and they work great as well. The flavor on the 510 carto is really fantastic -- they taste better on the VapeStack than any other PV I own.

(5) Performance: Great performance. It has fired immediately every time I've used it. I used one battery for more than 6 hours without any noticeable decrease in performance. I've used several different atomizers and cartomizers and they are all working wonderfully on this mod -- lots of vapor and lots of flavor. My husband uses a Thermo 6v and says that he doesn't really notice a difference between the Thermo and VapeStack.

(6) Price and Safety Issues: Very reasonably priced at $69.99. The kit includes the following: the body in black, red, blue, and purple; a matching drip tip; an atomizer and empty cart; and, a 3 month warranty. It takes a protected 16340 battery and includes vents on the bottom.

Cons
I honestly can't think of any cons.

All things considered, I'd give it a 5 out of 5. For me, the button placement and size are the real selling features. It's compact without sacrificing performance and aesthetics. In fact, it performs as well as, or better than, my other PVs, but is more convenient because of the size and mechanics.

*Sorry. No pics. My camera is not working :(

The body is horizontally knurled (standing upright) and feels good in the hands, won't slip out easily. This feature does not show up in online pics because the knurling is much smaller than on a Maglite Solitaire.

Ah I see the '510' part now, thanks, but I still dont see the '3.7v' bit - would that be the '3 amp' part? 3 volts = 3 amps? If so, its not clear to non techies like myself :)

Its cute little device though - looks like all sold out atm.

The body of the vapestack is def. not knurled, but does have a slight texture to it.

Straight from wikipedia....
Knurling is a manufacturing process, typically conducted on a lathe, whereby a visually-attractive diamond-shaped (criss-cross) pattern is cut or rolled into metal. This pattern allows hands or fingers to get a better grip on the knurled object than would be provided by the originally-smooth metal surface. Occasionally, the knurled pattern is a series of straight ridges or a helix of "straight" ridges rather than the more-usual criss-cross pattern.

And my VapeStack has straight ridges.

Y'know, it wasn't until I knew I was getting a VS that I tried a drip tip. I dig it, gotta admit! The VS is the only mod I have, so I still use carts with the BFD when I use my regular 510 - I like to have a couple ecigs with different flavors on my person, but I keep finding myself heavily favoring the VS, and therefore using the drip tip even more. :D

Cons
I honestly can't think of any cons.

I haven't found any yet! Been using it for about a week, and no complaints at all!

I've had my VapeStack for 2 weeks now and it's become my favorite mod. Small, fits great in my hand, easy press switch, and with an LR 510 atty, it vapes like a chimney.

Looking forward to the extension for a true 5v PV.

Or maybe this one:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/madvapes/86433-another-new-mod-coming-soon.html :D

I don't know if I'd say it's knurled. It has very small rings around it that give it a very slight texture. You almost have to look for them to notice. A nice extra touch. But knurled is such a strong word ;)

In any case, the VapeStack is a very well made PV that just vapes great. Great things come in small packages or something like that. ;)

I've been buying a lot of stuff from MadVapes lately. Great prices on everything, fast shipping and excellent customer service. :thumb:

The VS is the first mod I've actually had and used...and I've loved it. And I get a kick out of the fact that I've NEVER been approached by random people when using my 510 (which I still do use, alongside the VS), but with the VS I always get people coming up and asking if I'm using an electronic cigarette. ;)

A few weeks now, and still going strong! Love it, and looking forward to getting the extension for 5v!!!
