I worked for a school system that had a school here in Tennessee that is located near Shinagawa (maybe you've heard of Meiji Gakuin?)...anyway, when I went there, I was I suppose in Southern Tokyo...Of course I would go all over Tokyo and I know the area you speak of living...it is near ASIJ (friends of mine graduated from there) and Mitaka- where ICU is...
Hey, TennDave... 5 years is a long time. Sounds like you are due for a visit. By the way, Mitaka is on the East side of Tokyo. I am West... S h I t a machi hehe.. (I had to write it like that, because ECF, thinks downtown is Japanese is a swear word). Think of that famous very long running TV Film series from long ago.... Tora-San.

Ah...so I thought Mitaka was West...chigauno? Near Chofu- look due west of the map I linked to below... OH, and I loved Tora San- saw all of his movies and his Panshiron Commercials on TV!!

You are not West if you are between Saitama and Chiba- Chiba is East but Saitama is large and extends North West of Tokyo around to the far East...sort of confusing ne...

Fine here too. I was at the 25th floor of Queens tower in Minato Mirai when it happened. Was a little bit nervous but I did not let them find out as nobody seems to be affected by the earthquake. Seems everyone is used to this thing here in Japan. hehehe

No problem- yes, it can be confusing- especially if you ride the trains...many of the maps they use are not accurate in direction- they just lay everything out so that the stations from different lines match up, etc.
Yes the train lines and actual maps look very different. But I know I live in East Tokyo... or maybe I just thought I knew where I lived. Hehe... Have any of you ever ordered from Ecigsupply. I was very upset to recieve this message from them:I do apologize for the inconvenience. I have been informed this morning that we are no longer shipping to Japan due to customs issues.
This was aftr I tried to check out on the 2nd July, but Japan was not on the list by the address drop down. there ar many other countries, but not Japan. I sent a ticket, and no answer for three days, so I replied to the ticket yesterday, and asked if Japan would be added or not. That was the reply.
I have NEVER heard of any custom issues and everyone is still shipping to Japan. This is a tiny vendor, and I see that their last post here on the forum was last year. I think that they just couldn't be bothered to update their website to add another country's shipping prices etc. Probably too expensive or too much work.
Any thoughts?

. I may not be American, but I do make my own ice cream in the summer. Actually frozen yogurt from my own home made yogurt. I add some fruit and berries and some zero calorie swetener.... Still cold and yummy, just lower in fat and calories than real ice cream. That reminds me to put the ice cream drum in the freezer again, as summer is here!

Could it be related to the USPS ruling in NOT allowing Li-ion devices or batts to be shipped?
