Japan to NoVA
I was totally oblivious to there being a Japan forum!

I'm 29 year old male from Dallas, Texas and Laguna Beach, California living in Ashina Kanagawa Japan. I work for the United States Navy and have been forward deployed for the last four years. As stated in my introduction to ECF post I am a MKIV Toyota Supra Fanatic (there's a picture of my Ebony Queen on my profile) and some what of an and Mediaphile. My return to vaping began roughly six months ago with my mother beginning treatment for breast cancer. She had told me for a long time that I should quit smoking and I had never really payed much attention to it. The fact that she had always lived a healthy lifestyle and never smoked a day in her life (I understand they are not related) rocked my world. I remembered back to buying a e-cigarette about three years earlier and how i felt that the idea was great but the technology and performance were what led me back to tobacco. When I started looking into the industry again I was amazed at what I discovered. I started off with a Joyetech eGo-C and thought that it was a well built unit. I went from a two pack a day smoker, Newport's at that, to a vaper overnight. I couldn't believe how well adapted this was for me. I took it to the ship and people began asking about it. Due to USPS restrictions on lithium Ion battery shipments internationally, I began to purchase ship and facilitate converting smokers on my ship to vaping. This movement became so strong on board that I have now converted 50+ of my shipmates to vapers and there are a large number who made the transition on their own. I guesstimate there are around 75 of us on board which is nearly a third of the ships company. I'm currently using a Pro-vari with CE2 style tank. I am in the works for stocking E-liquid and Atomizers/Cartomizers in our ships store as well as working with various individuals in the community about helping to show the benefits of vaping and how well suited they are for today's sailor to the Department of the Navy to get their support.

I'm not in Japan as much as I would like but when I am we try to have vape-togethers as often as possible. Hit me up about anything!

Toyota love here too. 1JZGTE VVTI all the way. WISH they produced cars with this engine in the US. Oh well, I will be coming back there soon, I miss home.

I need some dried Umeboshi too... Love that stuff :)

What do you mean 'when you find one' ? It is kaki season and you can find it in any local fresh food shop. By the way, if you eat any unpealed fruit in Japan, (for eg. Apple, peach, pear, kaki, grapes etc.) be sure to wash the skin gently but well, with dish washing soap and cold water. Rinse well and dry before eating. Japan uses a HUGE amount of insecticide on fruit trees.

What??? Thanks for that warning... I did not know about that...

Konban Wa Mina-San,

i know i should ask in the common Forum but that is toooooo big for me,
i have a Problem "with my Addiction" :vapor:

My mouth get some Sore Spots,
this is the second Time for me but i can't find a other solution
than to stop for a few Days.

Do you, Mina-San, know this Problem?
Do you know the real Reason behind this warning Sign?
Is it the Liquid or more because of the permanent irritation from the Vapor?

Regards

What exact juice are you using? What is the PG and VG ratio? What is the nic content, flavor etc. Is it the same juice you tried before, or a different one? As DarK said, it could be either the PG or the VG that you may be a bit allergic too.
Some people who have a problem, vape pure VG juices and the problem goes away, or high PG with only a small percentage of VG (a little VG is necessary for vapor). Depends what your problem is.

This Spots stay only for a few Days and than disappear,
normally i never had any allergic Reaction.
(i just see that we can upload Photos, next Time i will show some Samples)

I smoked a lot of different Liquids from different Sources and in different Combos,
while my Research i saw that some other People reported the same Problem.

I would love to know the Reason for this Reaction!
We, the Vapornautic Society, need a rich Sponsor
who is able to pay scientific and medical Studies.

When i get rich by my Sales i would spend a lot of Money for Research!

Here is now everything Okay, just a few Problems with my Gear
but i have so many different Models that i can go on :vapor:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ame-time-after-7-8-weeks-use.html#post7682824

A few Weeks ago i discovered a "Shag" Bar in Shibuya,
you can order many different Types of Tobacco
and Hand Roll Your Cigarette,
we need to do something similar,
a E-Liquid Splash/ Gathering where we can use 1ml. from this and 1ml. from that, etc.

That will be nice. If you can arrange a vape-meet, I can bring about 20 flavors for sampling. We need at minimum 6 vapors to have a gathering. What do you think?

yes absolutely nothing except a pack of mild sevens i hope to replace :(

my analogues (love the lingo. so apt.) are 3mg tar and 0.3mg nicotine. i smoke maybe 5 - 10 sticks a day. if i drink, maybe 15 - 20. not sure if analogue stats help decide digital options. thanks dragonbone, you are a guru! i have seen you mentioned, always good things :), numerous times and would be grateful for your advice.

Lol, flattery gets you everywhere :). OK, I'll try my best to help. What kind of ecig are you looking for? What flavors do you think you are you interested in.
Also, which side of Tokyo are you (N S W E) and are or a girl or a guy?

good morning dragonbone, so sorry for the late response. i have some leave days to take before the end of the year so i went up to the tohoku area for five days. a lot of places there don't have internet or phone reception for softbank so i have been off the grid! just got back late last night.

thanks so much for your help. i'm not sure what kind of e-cig i am looking for. i guess one that is good for a novice? a friend of mine recommended the eGo CE4 Kit but some people are very anti whatever CE stands for :p do you have any recommendations? for flavors, i thought i would get a tobacco kind and another kind to start with.

I live in Minato-ku near Tokyo Tower and I am a girl.
