I picked up two of bottles of liquid from vv after reading the reviews and they showed up in todays vape mail. The organic pecan pie and maple french toast, both are flavors I really enjoy. These I can taste, they smell decent in the bottle but they don't even come close to the description. The ethyl alcohol is overwhelming!

Any advice from folks that have picked these two juices up from vv. I have both bottles open in the closet but is there a program for steeping these bad boys?

Like I said, some of my favorite flavors but right now these are tough to vape.

I can't stand the alcohol either. Leave them uncapped for 8-12 hours and it should be gone.

Some people say it takes less time than that but I find that is what works for me :vapor:

Thanks, they are breathing right now and will get capped in the morning. I'll give them a couple days and than take another try and see what happens. I was really looking forward to both of these juices.

A lot of times a juice is so strong that I like to keep on hand some unflavored nic that I can had to some juices to "tone them down" a little bit. Helps me. It can be frustrating find a juice that you like and even harder to stop tooting one you love. heehee Good luck to you and I hope after it breaths, you will be happy.

Also, welcome to the forum. I glad you are here. It is a wonderful place to get help from some really fantastic people. :)

I find that alcohol smell is really strong in anything that has either pecans or almond in it. It tames down but I seem to always be able to smell it a bit, think it is the nature of the beast. After about 3 days I vaped some anyway and no alcohol taste... in fact very goodDunno about the other nuts but I know these 2 tend to smell that way, especially at first.

Thanks all, I did as suggested and let them breathe for a couple hours and tried them again. They are un-vapable, the throat hit almost knocked me on my ...

But I am not ready to throw in the towel, they just got a nice two minute hot (tap) bath and the a shaking that would put a California earth quake to shame. Caps removed for an hour or so while they cool and we will see how it goes. They may just go on the DOA shelf for a month or so.....

And don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good vodka rocks but I just can't inhale this juice.

Angie, whereabouts is Amery? I spend a lot of time fishing over the Cheese Curtain :)

Marc-after uncapping for 6-8 hours, I would let it sit for a week or three. What flavor is it? Being 100% VG and organic, it takes a little longer. For example, Kona Coffee Milkshake for me needs 3-4 weeks to reach its true greatness. Others a week is good.

Amery is near the MN/WI border between New Richmond and St Croix Falls-ring a bell?

I know the Richmond/St Croix area but I have never been to Amery. That is a beautiful area, I am normally up there in October.

I picked up the pecan pie and maple french toast. I wrote the date on them and will go back to them in a couple weeks. I have several juice that need to steep but none have been like these two juices.

I've always been a bit baffled by the fact that I can't taste or smell the alcohol content at all! Kitty and I have puzzled over this since she can't taste it either but her sister can. I have no idea why that is! But customers do report the "steeping with the cap off the let the alcohol evaporate" trick works. And, of course, our Absolute line does not contain alcohol since the flavors are extracted using a completely different technology...

Chawk, without knowing the details of your order, my guess would be that the flavor and/or the nicotine content need to be mixed in and given a little time to mellow and steep. Give the bottles a good shake, mix it up with the glass dropper and repeat every few days while letting it age. Let me know if that helps!
