First Kayfun Poly Section Question

This may be a stupid question but its my first kayfun (KFL+v2). When using the small poly in the middle of the body, are you supposed to put orings on it like the metal section has? Possibly use the spare orings that come with it? Or does the poly section not need them? Any advice would be appreciated.

All my kayfuns came with o rings already installed on both the clear and metal tank sections. I don't use the plastic pieces but would assume they need to be sealed same as the metal ones.

Yes you need the orings. Take them off the small metal center section and use them on the plastic.

eta: Make sure you don't get the threads crossed on the plastic, it will leak

You should have 2 metal end pieces, 1 metal center piece, 1 plastic center piece and 1 plastic full tank.
You have three option
1-Use all three metal pieces
2-Use the 1 plastic full tank
3-Use 2 metal end pieces and 1 plastic center piece

Yes you need those o-rings on the plastic section too, otherwise it'll leak. I had one come that way too. You can either take the ones off the metal section or use the spare ones. I used the ones from the metal section. Ehpro must send them this way where Hcigar sends both sections with o-rings already attached plus an extra.

Hmmm.... I don't know about the v2 BUT the lite and the lite plus come with the upper and lower rings and either the metal or clear center ring, not a full clear tube where you can eliminate the upper and lower rings.

So do you tuck them into the poly part. Since the threads are on the inside, you can't put them over, but there is a small lip inside the poly I guess you can place them.

I think I went full on Derp on this one. The small poly has threads on the outside, but the large tank has threads on inside. I was confusing the two. So, I can stick the extra orings on the middle piece. You were right, btw, it was an Ehpro.

I'm so glad that I saw this post. I just got home with my new Ehpro Kayfun Light Plus and it did not have the o-rings on the plastic tank piece. So glad that I did not fill it yet.Thank you...
