Taste is very subjective. Like Dinger said, what one likes another hates. For me, RY4's worked. They are usually a mild tobacco flavor with hints of vanilla and caramel. Sweet. but not too sweet. The one I liked was a house juice from a B&M and had a hit of maple flavor. tobacco flavors usually won't taste anything like a cig. Usually more like licking a cigar. You will likely have to sample a few before you find what works for you.

oops..our posts kinda walked on each other and I missed that you were asking about ejuice now.....Try looking online or even in your telephone book...well, THAT dates me! ...for local vape shops in your area...what you'll hear called B&M's..."brick and mortar" shops..think of them as the Mom and Pops of vaping as compared to one of the" Big Boy" EJUice sites on the internet. There are like 4 or 5 near me, and in all of them I can try a juice before I buy..some call 'em juice bars....The atmosphere is different in each..so is the service and the personality of the staff....very personal prefernce kind of thing when choosing where to shop locally. IMO the locaql shops are alot like going to a bar for a drink instead of buying your own brew and sittin at home...Alot cheaper to buy your own and go home...but in a pinch or when u r feeling social...you'll choose the bar...and pay premium. Still..the vape bars are a GREAT way to figure out what you like...WARNING...I would bring YOUR OWN FRESH and clean set ups..and extra swap outs to test juices...YEAH  ..mixing flavors can end up tasting funky....and some work well together...personal taste..some ejuice like cinnamon?red hots can discolor even crack a plastic tank...I only use pyrex myself....I use the 510 cartomizers for testing as they are relatively inexpensive and easy to clean and reuse/swap out when testing..I hear it ALOT that the juice tastes different at home in your set up then itdid at the shop...why I bring my own set up. And some juice HAS to steep is it tastes like ****. DIY juice sounds like fun...but there's alot of hit and miss and tweaking to consider...and what to do with all that juice that was a MISS ??? You have to do very careful with the nicotine when DIY..as it IS a POISON at high levels...just like a chemistry set, there are rules and calculators needed to mix your own...just like a cake you can't..well you COULD ;)...jst throw in some flour , sugar, salt and eggs and expect a cake...u might get a PANcake or something unedible...but with the base nicotine ..you are talkin posonous when mixed improperly! Must follow instruction with it TO THE LETTER. Good Luck...and Enjoy!!

Sadly those kits and juices are not that easily obtainable over here. Hahaha. I guess some of you guys can guess where.
Yes, you are in a difficult spot - The "Little Red Dot" or "Fine City".
I do wish I can visit a local shop and just get to touch and feel and vape (of course) everything.
You could make a trip across the causeway to Johor Bharu and visit lots of vape shops just to see what's available. Though purchasing and getting them through customs will be difficult (especially products that cannot be disassembled into small parts/pieces that look nothing like an e-cigarette).

Now the hardware is out of the way, I read that first juice is actually more important than first kit? I've only tried a drag of orange from my friend and it was nasty to me. Are there any cigarette flavours?

some sites offer sampler packs - purchasing several smaller bottles of different flavors - are you somewhere that will be challenging to ship to?

edit - ah - got it

Lots and lots of places sell juice sampler packs, often in sets of 4-6 3-4mL bottles. Lots of places that sell tobacco juices have tobacco samplers. It sounds like that might be something to try (from wherever) at this stage in your vaping. I'm not a big tobacco vape person but I've always enjoyed Mister E-Liquid's tobacco's and they're fairly reasonable in price.

ETA: dcfluegel, beat me to it!

The idea of crossing the bridge does sound really good but imagine a new guy heading there who doesn't know half the stuff he is buying........definitely getting jacked, hahahaha.

Welcome aboard Zombie! Glad to have you with us.
For the hardware (battery and atomizer) the simpler the better when getting started. Good suggestions in the above posts.
The juice is always the toughest part, and it takes some trial and error to find what works for you. The best option is visiting a vape shop where you can taste some stuff and narrow down your preferences a bit: fruits, menthols, desserts, candies, etc. Second best would be an inexpensive sampler pack from a decent vendor, because they'll likely give you a pretty wide range of flavor profiles to try. Option number three is an unflavored juice. That works quite well for a lot of folks too.
Best of luck to you.

I'm back from yesterday as promised. I see that you've been filled in by our fellow vapers. I figured that would happen. Good luck in your search for juice. As I said early on, there's only a couple hundred hardware choices, but 1000's of juice choices. Happy Vaping!

You say "Over here", guess I missed the post where "here" is. Where is "here"?
