First Mall Gets Cold Feet

One mall I know of decided to not renew the lease and not allow you know what to be sold there in the future. The kiosk has warnings, IDs, etc., - no complaints reported.

This was a decision made yesterday by a new manager who just started a couple of weeks ago.

The only reason given was they do not want to "promote smoking of any kind" although there are vendors who sell cigarettes there.

AFAIK there was no legal or outside pressure.

I'm not predicting anything here, but this is a fact to add to the list.

This is in NJ, the home of Frank Lousenberg.

I don't know what is happening anywhere else, but would like to.

So if the gov't statistics are right that there are 62 malls across the US (seems like too small number) there will be one less starting in a week or so.

Personally, this is mixed news to me. I wouldn't mind if all of Smoking Everywhere's leases got cancelled. They perpetuate the false claims that keep getting e-cigs in trouble in the first place, and their CEO is an idiot. I just would hope that they disappear all at once, so we can pretend (and hopefully convince naysayers) that they weren't there in the first place. Then we could get someone with a brain to become the most visible spokesperson for our devices.

Hey I was just checking out your link..Isnt that the ecig from e-cig.com your selling for $145.00?
Thats an eighty dollar mark up?

Marked up from what? Do you really know what it costs?

After, customs tariffs, lawyers (3), accountants, rent (we have a real office and building even), bulletproof custom web programming and hosting (we are not a Volusion or cheapo site), testing every unit, eating upper 5 figures of returned goods with no questions asked, (from LT, Smoke51)... I think it's a fair price. Buy from where you want, that's your choice. You get what you pay for (if you get it at all or a month later or can't return it or whatever).

I will tell you one thing, we will have promotions with codes soon but right now our main focus is to keep satisfying and growing our customer base and keeping it all legal. We think that's an added value. Even at $145 we have yet to put a penny profit in our pocket. Doing it right costs big $. e-cig has good paperwork, assuming it's real, which to the best of our investigation is and we work with them personally, as in face to face and mano a mano in Shenzen (that also costs money).

You are entitled to your opinion and I don't begrudge you the right... but if you are insinuating that I am a greedy ripoff artist (I beleive "conman" is the current term around these parts) than I take you to task. You sign an NDA and I'll show you my books. Straight Up.

I couldn't agree more. This one happened to be mine and it wasn't about false claims. Lousenberg gave the manager the horrors....
