You will probably notice that your vapor is diminishing as the battery gets down to 3.7 -3.8 volts. I was worried about over-discharging mine at first, so was checking them a couple of times a day, I don't think I've ever gone below 3.7 volts, and I could tell they were not hitting as hard.

I would suggest checking them often until you get a feel for how fast they are discharging. Never let them go below 3.2 volts for sure.

Are the magnets fairly simple to put in?

I'm not looking for any vaping ability outside of .5 - 1.7. So I'm not sure the none hard hitting aspect would bother me too much.

Also can anyone answer my question about draining batteries? I know you aren't supposed to, but what happens if you do? And will you know they're low or should you periodically check them to see?

If you drain lithium batteries too low - like 2.5 votls; you will not be able to recharge them.

To keep your batteries from getting too low in your mech mod, you could just use a kick module.

Isn't that kick only meant for 1.5 ohm to 3 ohm?

I don't have a problem taking out my batteries to check them until I get used to noticing when they're low.

That one goes down to 1.0 ohm
•Low resistance protection (below 1.0ohm)

I guess since most people who use mech mods don't use kick modules, there's not much incentive to make high-powered or low-ohm kicks.
On the other hand, it gives you some convenience when you're using a coil in the 1.0 to 1.7 ohm range.

Kicks....

Turned out to be a PITA.

Tica02, get familiar with your new toy.....Anytime you remove the battery inspect it and the battery. On the battery your looking for signs or arching and a torn wrapper. On the mod your looking for corrosion. On both your looking for signs of change and excessive heat.

The only heat you should feel will be from the atomizer.

Get to where you can build consistent .6 or higher coils before you drop below .5

Battery's in a mech mod are kinda like rifle scopes......It doesnt pay, in the long run, too go cheap.....Or for another cliche " good booze aint cheap and cheap booze aint good.

Use the calculator I posted earlier and keep at least 30% battery overhead with any coil build.

And hollar if you need help.

Minne-soda!
Thankyou again! I'm now hemming and hawing between that and a sigelei 60 watt, maybe even a provari. I put an igo l dripper on my dna today and its pretty amazing at 1 ohm and 17 watts. I really only have two juices I really think are amazing even after all these years so I want to get the best bang for my buck with all of it.

Sort of off the original topic. I'm starting to get a little weary of really how safe the Aspire coils are. Can anyone recommend any others with replaceable heads that might come close to those? I have a dripper and a Kayfun but I'd like to keep some less fiddly things around too for when I don't feel like building.
