Check out the Nemisis, been hearing so much about it Im thinking about grabbing one myself! although I have a Kamry KTS, i love my mech. I love the side fire button. the looks of it and it works GREAT.

was looking at the nemesis but my B&M has a k100 starter kit with 2 batteries, another atomizer and case and only 54 bucks.

Soooo many options man... wow..bang for the buck.....

I guess if it was me looking back I might have to recommend a Sigelie 8 or the 8W....(I do hate its top cap)

These both perform very well out of the box (might stand for thread cleaning) and will not cost much to try out for a starter mechanical. I use these still even after having owned some very high end devices. You also can kinda avoid the whole CLONE thing if that even matters to you. If that does not...I might have other choices that can be thrown out there.

Good luck

I would avoid starter kits when it comes to mechanical devices. The batteries and chargers are often clones too and then cannot support stuff that mechanical's are good for... lower Resistance builds. As well as incorrectly charge batteries....that leads to potential issues

343 is right, if you can't wait then get it. If you can, get something online and buy it there. you'll be able to get all of those things online for a good price and you'll be able to get better quality batteries, charger, an atty. Check out Fasttech online. best prices i've found so far but the shipping is a bit of a wait. go online an check out ebay also, i've found some great deals myself and would recommend online rather than buying a starter kit

The K100 isn't bad but when it comes down to it, settling for what you can get NOW rather than getting something of better quality with better options is up to you. personally if you have something you can vape now, go online and compare different mods, there are SOOO many different mechs out there. you might find later that you like something other than a K100 really. or you might just keep buying others, it's totally up to you

Particularly in the clone market, you can do very well on ebay for certain set ups and get good stuff. I live in your area as well and have been to several B&M's all though they are okay. I will buy online all the time till I cannot anymore. Gosh I hope that never come to be :)

Patience will pay large dividends for this purchase I promise.
Be happy to help you choose the best among what you like. Just tell me what you like and I could point you where to get it if you like....

I hope this helps out

I used a K100 as my main vape weapon for a few months. After that it shared the job with another mech for a few more months. The switch spring in the K100 is quite strong and not suited to pinky operation, so I learned to hit it with my ring or middle fingers. It never let me down. I got a Nemesis clone from FT in December. IMO the Nemesis looks better than the K100. It did however have a rough switch action and I find the 510 adjustable screw is not as dependable as the K100's floating pin. I fixed the switch by replacing the switch springs with $4 magnets.

I also got a Kamry KTS at the same time as the K100. I never did like it much, but it was much more preference than performance though it never saw much use.

I also would not buy a kit with batteries and charger. The batts are typically not good and sometimes downright dangerous. The chargers are not much better.

the k100 is a good hitting mod IMO, feels kinda cheap but works very well. Dont get a starter kit, it would be a waste.

k100, some of those sony 30A high drain batterys, a charger, multimeter and your choice of topper. My friend uses a nimbus clone on his and it works great, I personally like the trident clone. The sony batteries should handle any build you want, use your multimeter to check resistance, battery life and to make sure the RDa isnt shorting out after you build it.

thanks for all the reply's! I think im going to get a nemesis clone off of fasttech with a kayfun lite or igo-w and learn to build on those! :) any remarks on this?

sounds good, you will probably have to drill out the air holes on the igo w, I know i did on my igo l. I like 2-3mm air holes depending on build. my dual set up using two 2mm and my singles use either a single 2mm or a 3mm. My trident has all these pre drilled so i just have to adjust the top cap to change it. With the W dont go to big at first, baby steps until you find what you like.

Good man. Nice picks, all. Get good batts and a charger, maybe consider the switch magnets upgrade. Also note that a nemi will fit a kick nicely - not for subohm use, but great if you're looking for some additional regulation and safety.

the kts is a bad mod IMO. My brother has one and that suckers fire button would brand you if you were not careful. His thread on the 510 connector also stripped out. Glad he ordered it before I did, saved me money. Does look great though
