First mech mod!

Just grabbed this at the local vape shop. Headed home now to test my luck. Any advice or thoughts to be mentioned?

Very nice. Just make sure you didn't pay an arm and a leg for that: it's a clone.

What kind of pins? Silver plated? What batteries are you using with it? What topper? etc...

Being that it's your first mech, I recommend you use a kick on it until you get to know things better. (Unless you have an experienced person working with you.) Don't let those batteries over-discharge.

I paid $45 for it, I think that's fair really. I do believe their silver, and I have to wait till tomorrow for a high drain battery, their sold out, so I know I can't sub ohm yet safely.

*any advice on taking parts out so it will fit an 18650*?
Does button top or flat top matter?

Looks like its already in 18650 mode

The pins and button are adjustable and yes will work with both flat and button top

Congrats! I am loving my Nemmy clone....I got the HCigar one....I believe you can use either button or flat top on it. I am currently using a Sony VTC4 in mine...it's got a 30 Amp maximum, so should I choose to venture into sub-ohm territory I have some 'wiggle room' current-wise....(which I am currently doing....0.7 Ohm Dual coil on a Trident v2....hitting very nicely!!)

I've been building coils for awhile, no need for explaining on that subject. It cannot be in 650 mode! It has like an inch of play and just rattles around in there

Maybe take the kick ring out.. If your not using one and adjust bottom pin and switch also take the next tube off its about an inch than screw on both larger tubes

Unscrew bottom switch leave lock ring on
Push button holding delrin piece and turn silver pin to your liking
It wont need very much throw to work

This helped me get it working, thank you, I was confused on the very small brass ring, it didn't seem to unscrew at first =] its working like a charm! Thanks guys! And it turns out I have an imr high drain as well

You need to take out the Kick Ring Lol. If theres no kick no need. 18650 will work. Switch the spring to magnets too!

The kick ring is out now, as you can see in the above picture. What is the advantage of magnets vs springs?

2 long and 1 short tube plus shiny ring(kick ring)

For 18650 remove short tube and possibly kick ring.(depends on adjustment/battery length)
18500 - long base tube and short tube
18350 - long base tube only

It's funny how now that I look at the pieces, common sense kind of tells you which goes with what size battery

The smallest ring is for a 2cent fuse. You'll only need this if you use a 2cent fuse (I.E. VapeSafe, Shortstop)

The next size up is for 18490/18500 or a Kicked/Stomped/Crowned 18350

The next size up is for 18650 or a Kicked/Stomped/Crowned 18500/18490

No extension rings would give you room for just an 18350.

For a Kicked/Stomped/Crowned 18650 you use both of the big rings.

The Crown is shorter than a Kick or Stomp...to get this to work you'll need to use the included VapeSafe fuse, but you will NOT need the little 2cent ring.
