First micro coil build- low vapor output?????

I built my first coil and it seemed to go well until I vaped it. Protank rebuild.
30 Guage Kanthal
12 wrap micro coil
Cotton wick

I squeezed the coil together, torched it, cooled it, torched it again, and so on until it stayed together.
I put it together and the resistance was 3.1 ohms. Which I thought was great.
I slid in the cotton wick, then the flavor wick.

I am using an itaste mvp 2
I vaped on every voltage and wattage and could not get a good amount of flavor or vapor.
I'm not sure where I went wrong but it just didnt produce enough vapor.
I even changed the wick because I thought maybe I put too much cotton in and I got the same result.
I am waiting on a delivery of ss mesh, maybe when I use that I'll have better luck.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

12 wraps around 1/16" (the largest size micro) jig is much lower resistance than that. If I remember correctly, it's about 2 ohms. Sounds like you may have wrapped a larger than 1/16" inside diameter coil - therefore not a micro coil and not so great results?

I wrapped it around a 5/64 screwdriver

at a max of 11 watts for the mvp, I believe your resistance is much to high at 3.1Ω. I would decrease to between 1.8 to 2.0

I'll try it with a smaller size jig and less wraps
