SO...got my DIY kit from Nude Nicotine...set up safe mixing area...plugged #'s into e-juice me up calculator and mixed up 30ML of Patchouli Vanilla at 12MG nic 70/PG 30VG....sat down proud as punch that I did it.

Then realized the calculator had flavoring at 20% when it was suggested at 2.5 to 7.

Mixed up 60 ML unflavored at 12MG...added over flavored 30ML...I now have 90ML of Patchouli Vanilla 70/PG 30VG 12MG ....really hope I like it....By the way I found sterilized baby food jars will hold 90ML if you are out of e-juice bottles that big.

That is one mistake I will never make again.

Aw, that stinks. Hopefully you will love it. If not, maybe you can modify it with other flavors (in small tests, see below). This is why people here usually recommend to start with small batches, but mistakes are how we learn.

For future mistakes like this, you can always take a small amount of your 'mistake' and adjust that. Like in this case, you could have taken say... 2 ml of your over concentrated and added 3 ml of 12 mg/ml unflavored to make a 1:5 dilution (which would end up being 4% flavor [20%/5]) or 2 ml of your 'mistake' to 8 ml of unflavored for a 1:10 dilution (2.5% flavor). That way, 1) you can test a couple of different concentrations and 2) you don't end up (potentially) wasting 720 mg of nicotine on something that stinks.

Like I said above, if you don't love the 90 ml of patchouli vanilla, you can similarly take small batches and add varying amounts of other flavors. Maybe blueberry vanilla, or strawberry vanilla. All is not lost, and you can do a lot of fun experimenting to see what flavors compliment the vanilla.

I'm getting ready to make my 1st attempt as well; I have some virginia flue cured in cold maceration that has been there since the 1st, ordered everything except any tobacco flavor so I'm hoping the extraction has some flavor to it. I didn't order many flavors to start out because I didn't know what I was going to mix and then found recipes on here, 1st batch will be a tobacco/caramel of some sort.

well after a few hot water baths and some serious shaking I tried a few drips in my nimbus....and it was light but tasty. As long as it doesnt change too much over the next 2 weeks(except to get more flavorful) it will be a good vapeable juice. I guess I need to order more patchouli vanilla concentrate from nude nicotine too....well I will wait the 2 weeks first

glad you worked it out. I am working through my first batch of patchouli vanilla and like it a lot. changing the wattage really helps adjust the flavor too. +1 on blending with other flavors, I'm currently vaping a mix of coffee cream with the vanilla - nothing like a formal recipe, just a rough experiment to prove out the idea and to use up my first small batches

well at less than 7 cents a ML it will save me tons...I will have to try the coffee cream/patchouli vanilla mix it does sound good to me...the only coffee vape I like is NN's coffee cream and I tried MANY. I tgink for now I will stick with the concentrates they sell. What percentage did you mix the PV and CC at ?

Since NN's flavors are VG based, they take much longer to 'stabilize' after mixing. You will likely taste SUBSTANTIAL changes over the next 7 days.

Patchouli Vanilla at 5% knocked out one of my top 3 'daily rotation vapes'. Make sure you try it at different voltages: high = more spicy; low = more sweet/vanilla.

'Hope it works out beautifully for you...but :::wink::: if it doesn't, I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands! :)

I will be sure to remember that if I decide I dont like it :) first drips were not bad just didnt intend to make my first mix so LARGE
