I suppose it depends on the calculator, but, I don't really see it as a problem. The calculator that I normally use doesn't have an option to use vg/pg nic base, just either pg, or vg. So, if your calculator is the same, you'd have to do some manual calculations if you wanted to accurately figure the end resulting pg/vg ratio. However, if you're like me, and don't mind if it's off a little bit, then it would be no problem.

You will have to take into account that the nicotine strength will be diluted with every drop of flavoring added. I did a basic calculation on the calculator, and you can get it to 10mg nic-strength, as long as you didn't go above 8% flavoring. That's just an example, and something to think about when figuring out what nic-strength/flavor % ratio you want.

If the end PG/VG result really doesn't matter, I would do all of the calculating as if you were working with 100% either VG or PG.

Edit: If the end PG/VG result does indeed matter, I would search for a calculator that allows you to enter a pg/vg nic base.

I didn't take the flavoring diluting the nic into account. I just used the calc as usual and added up the PG/VG/Nicotine amounts and started with the total volume of the three and then I added the flavorings by the drop amounts called for at 20% total flavoring. For example : I input the amounts on the calc as if I was starting from scratch. My premix is 70/30% at 11mg nic. That's already mixed. So if I'm making a 10ml bottle let's say 8.5ml is the total given for PG/VG and nicotine. I fill the bottle with 8.5mls of the premix and then add the remaining 1.5mls of flavoring using the drop amounts shown in the calc. So your saying I have to account for the further dilution of the nicotine present in the premix by the additional 1.5ml of flavorings?

Yes, you'll have to account for the dilution of the nic when adding any amount of flavoring. Your example, the 8.5mls of premixed 11mg with the 1.5mls of flavoring (15%), the highest nic-strength feasible with this formula would be ~9.2mg.

You could, of course, add some more nic-base into your premixes. I would make sure to have the math right before attempting it, though.
