First post here, and I need some advice!

Alright, I should probably start with a little background.

January 26, 2014 I quit smoking. I went from smoking a pack/pack and a half of marlboros a day to vaping 6mg juices.

I started off with Kanger evods, and couldn't have quit smoking without their simplicity and convenience. But soon, I was ready for an upgrade!

Let's get this out there, I'm lazy. Dripping is a pain in my ... and carrying around multiple batteries doesn't appeal to me. So, I went with an Itaste mvp v2 with protanks 2. I enjoy the itaste's battery life and simple charging system.

So here is where I need advice! I'm over the inconsistency I get with the protanks. I'm thinking about getting a kayfun but I've heard they're better with mods opposed to electrics... so if I were to buy a mod, what would be a good choice? And is there something better than a kayfun?

I'm looking for something reliable and consistant that doesn't require me to become a professional builder. I'd like to pay no more than 200 (tank and device) but let's face it, when I go to the vape store I easily forget my self imposed price limit. I just want a setup where I get quality vape, flavor, and consistency. Im not chasing clouds, just want something I can vape all day comfortably.
Thanks in advance!

I would start with a simple MOD anywhere from 30 -60$ Bolt mods are inexpensive and simple. There are alot of genesis style RBAs. Many of which cost alot more than some MODS. They provide ease of use, and are affordable to rebuild with some Kanthal. Coil building is not hard, there are plenty of videos on youtube of coil builds. You can also go the easy route and use Stainless steel mesh instead of regular coils and wick or cotton.

Hi, I own four Kayfuns and two Kayfun Clones and it is hard to tell the difference. The clones are about $26.00 to $45.00 and real Kayfun is about $120.00. I bought a Nemeis Clone for $40.00. This will leave you $120.00 left for some good batteries a good charger and Kanthal 28ga. wire and Lily Sugar and Cream yarn and multi meter. There is tons of info on this forum on making your own coils. I learned all of the above here.

You are paying the "premium" but I'd suggest picking up the natty from MtBakerVapor. Using the coupon code "vaporfrombaker" you will receive 10% off, and any order over 15 nets you a 10ml bottle (may be 15?) of their premium, mixed to order juice. You can select any flavor, nicotine level, and pg/vg mix. I must sound like a paid reviewer (maybe I'll look into that... LOL) but my experience with them has been top notch, and besides, who doesn't love a free bottle of juice with an order? Lol ;)

If you go this route though, keep in mind mixed to order = needs time to steep. Some flavors are wonderful out of the mail and get better with age, others need time. Vanilla tobacco tasted like sewage the first day... nearly 2 weeks later, it is absolute bliss in a bottle

The Kayfun Lite Plus V2 is currently in stock at the site below, if you wanted to go that route.

Kayfun Lite

From what I gather, it sounds like availability on these authentic Kayfun's has been somewhat sketchy. I was considering one of the knock-offs, but when I ran across the real deal, I pounced.

Oh, my first post, as well! :D

I just ordered a Tesla with charger and four batteries for around a hundred, I've got an Aspire BDC and going to get a nautilus I think, The tank is easy to fill, I use a coil for about 2 weeks then put in another one while I clean that one. I have three coils in rotation and yet to burn one out. To clean it just soak it in a little vodka for a day before you take it out shake it around a little bit. Pull it and let it dry for a few days before reusing it again. I always get a good full flavor and have never had a problem with a burned taste or leaky tanks. currently using an ego 510 my wife has the same set up with a clearomiser on it and I am constantly having to clean the top of the battery for her.
